The Hamilton sales team was less than honest. I was given a quote the first time I visited the dealership and when I returned several weeks later I was told "the market had changed and the price I was given a quote the first time I visited the dealership and when I returned several weeks later I was told "the market had changed and the price I was given was no longer market". When I told them I had received several quotes below Hamilton Honda's last quote that they no longer would honor, they told me that the quotes were just to lure me into a dealership and then the price would change. Unfortunately this only seemed to be true at Hamilton Honda. The sales team also seemed to be very old school in that they had to keep going away to "talk to their manager" when discussing price. There didn't seem to be a legitimate decision-maker available to speak with, to include Tony, the sales manager. They also tried to convince me that they were the only dealership within a certain radius that had the color of vehicle I was looking for and that they would refuse to swap with another dealer--they almost made it sound like a threat. When I tried to change the conversation to another color, they seemed frustrated and offended. My impression from three visits to the dealership is that this is a classic, old school operation where they try to take advantage of consumers who are not on top of current market prices and / or haven't done any research. The sales team told me over and over that "we never lose a customer due to price"--yet their price quotes seemed to constantly change and they would not commit to meeting a price from another dealer. I doubt I'm the first customer they've lost on price or due to the lack of trust-worthiness from their sales team. I ended up purchasing my Honda from another dealer and had a great experience. It was the opposite of everything I experienced at Hamilton Honda. Hamilton Honda did actually save me nearly a thousand dollars. I was willing to do business with them based on their first quote they gave me. However, when they wouldn't honor the quote the next time I returned, I ended up purchasing my vehicle from another dealer at a price significantly below Hamilton Honda's original price quote. I've also visited the service department for service on my older model Honda and they were not much better in terms of honesty and trust. I will never do any business with this dealership again. They are not above board in terms of their sale process and I don't trust the sales team. Hamilton Honda was the worst dealership out of 7 that I had interaction with when shopping for my new Honda. The entire facility is very impressive. The people were very nice. My salesman Cody was friendly, knowledgeable, and straightforward. My daughter and son-in-law recommended that we come to Hamilton because they were so pleased after their experience with your dealership. Even though the distance was pretty far from our residence in Brick, we decided to take the ride. We were greeted by Jim Grimm. He had a professional and friendly deameanor and we immediately felt comfortable. Jim listened to our needs and wants about the price of the vehicle. He also worked very hard to figure out the price we could afford to pay monthly. We are happy with our beautiful white Honda Accord and would like to thank Jim for his patience. My wife and I stopped at the dealership to obtain a new lease on our expiring Honda Accord 2008 lease. We were met by Lauren. She is such a sweetheart. Plus, she is also very knowledgeable in her field of car sales and leasing proceedures. She in turn introduced us to Anthony Servedio, Sales Manager. Anthony was also a pleasure to deal with. We really didn't have any firm intention of going through with a new lease at this time as we were going to visit another dealer with comperable vehicles (different brand) because they were advertising a really low lease price. But, because of the demeaner and professional attitudes of Anthony and Lauren, we eventually drove away with a new 2010 Honda Accord even though the price was slightly higher. What changed our minds was their attitudes, and also the fact that the other dealer would not provide "gap protection" with their leases. Also, we love the overall appearance of the dealership, and cannot say enough good things about the manner in with they treat their customers. Hamilton Honda is a first class operation. We will certainly return in the future, and will also spread the word about just how really good their dealership is. Tom & Pat More
My husband and I were very happy with our experience at Hamilton Honda. We will recommend Hamilton Honda highly because of Patrick and Carl. We realize that Derek was doing his job but this was not the first car we purchased and we do not remember being pressured by other dealers like we were pressured by Derek. It seemed very obvious that he makes a commission on the upgrades but it got to the point where I was ready to tell him if he thought it was so important for me to take all that extra coverage, there must be something wrong with Honda automobiles.I also did not care for the camera in Derek's office. I never had that experience when purchasing an automobile in the past. And after all that pressure, Derek forgot to give us a 'we owe you' slip for an accessory that was ordered for us. I realized that when I had to sign the last check off list before I drove away -- which is a very clever idea. We love the fact that the lifetime oil changes and car washes are available 7 days a week, we love the waiting area, we think lots of thought went into what the customer would appreciate and we are happy to be part of your Hamilton Honda family. Again, we will be recommending Hamilton Honda in the future and we will tell our friends to ask for Patrick Sullivan. More

In addition, it was clear that every other part of the dealership, from the physical structure to parts and service, are incorporated into this model of delivering the highest and most professional service possible, with a follow-through on customer satisfaction that exceeds all expectations. This type of business model -- where all parts work seamlessly together and each part is informed by an ethic of integrity and quality that matches the workmanship and reliability of the Honda automobiles that they sell -- is rare and unique to Hamilton Honda, and in that way worth traveling from Massachusetts to buy a new automobile. The team mentioned above allowed us to see the positive side of a new car purchase. We found that the professional attitude that this team brought to the sale not only resulted in a sale to us but will mo side of a new car purchase. We saw the capabilities of the dealer ship and the service area and met some of the management team. The team work displayed amongst all those we met is something special and to see people enjoying their jobs because they are respected makes it that much more enjoyable to the buyer. If there is one negative is being in that showroom as the sun goes down it is brutal as there is no place to hide from the glare, you gotta do something with those windows. More
