I purchased my 201q6 Civic Touring from Hamilton Honda and have experienced excellent service throughout the past 4 years I was very concerned about the fact that HONDA would not cover the cost of the rep and have experienced excellent service throughout the past 4 years I was very concerned about the fact that HONDA would not cover the cost of the replacement of my A/C compressor, as it was burned out as a direct consequence of the defective A/C condenser and consequent leak that was was covered by HONDA. I registered a complaint directly with HONDA and look forward to a reasonable outcome. This has not adversely affected my trust in the management and service people at Hamilton Honda and I will continue to tell people about the positive car buying and servicing experiences I've enjoyed there. Left me sitting for hours. A cash purchase of a used car should take an hour or two at most, not 4-5 hours. I’m not blaming the salesperson, although I did mention multiple times that my time is at a premium. The buying process at Hamilton Honda is Kafkaesque. Then when I went to finance office to pay, after signing about 40 papers (ridiculous) with Lily, she kept insisting that she is not a cashier and wanted me to give exact amount to the penny. I would have gladly overpaid by a dollar or 20 dollars, whatever! Not allowed to overpay! Well I was 3 pennies short. She rudely said “well who is going to pay that?” I had to go scrounge under the seats of my trade for 3 pennies. Humiliating! For a $8970 sale! The worst thing though was that the whole process took half the day, the inefficiency was very frustrating! I feel pretty certain that the sales system is to let customers sit a sales desks to gain commitment. Rude! Also did not like the xx from Rob about how cars are priced by some computer system that compares market rates blah blah blah. When every dummy knows its about profit margin. Too much xxxxxxxx and too much wasted time. You guys can do better! More
