I was disappointed when I brought my new vehicle in to adjust the liftgate so it shut flush with the body and was told that this is just the way that Honda makes these vehicles. I found this answer unsatisfactory as I have always been pleased with the fit and finish of Honda vehicles (we have purchased/serviced four Hondas from Hamilton Honda and four more Hondas from other dealers before that). It appears that I may have to take my complaint to Honda of America to see if they are able to address it. Additionally, when I purchased my car, the bar code for the carwash was applied but not added to the carwash system. Service was unable to add the bar code so I had to make an additional stop to go into the car wash and have the bar code added. In my opinion, service should have addressed this as it was a mistake made upon delivery. More

Hamilton Honda is an uber - sized dealership. As such a customer can expect to find a wide inventory of Hondas , more than most other dealers in this area. The downside is that because of the size , somet customer can expect to find a wide inventory of Hondas , more than most other dealers in this area. The downside is that because of the size , sometimes a customer can feel lost , or worse yet , inconsequential . Expendable . There will always be another customer to take your place in the queue . This was my prior experience about a year ago when I began to look into an Accord Hybrid . But NOT my experience this time . Why ? Because of 3 individuals who made this significant purchase a pleasurable experience . Kaythlen was my sales rep and she was a pleasure . She is bright , personable and genuinely wants to help . She is young and sometimes may not be able to answer all your questions . But she is industrious and if she doesn't have the answer she'll get it from someone who does . Tony Servidio was the manager who became part of the negotiations as the sale progressed. As anyone who has ever dealt with car dealerships knows , this can be the most uncomfortable aspect . There is sweet talk and best buddy repartee and double talk that can leave your head spinning . If Tony was doing this it sure didn't feel like that . Tony has been " at it " for a while . He is an old pro without artifice who leaves the "high pressure " approach at the door . He is genuine . And finally there was Sue , the finance rep , the last person on the line . The one who takes your money . And here you can sometimes get one more sales pitch to buy the various extras - the "add ons " , the extended warranties , the special undercoating , paint protection etc . Sue was great . She asked once about the sundry add ons and when told , "No thanks ," she moved on . Were there negative aspects ? Sure . As stated , this is a very busy place . There are times when your sales person disappears for a bit . And although my 3 primary contacts were super , there is not much of a sense of collegiality here. Many people work here . And while many workers passed by me at various times while I was sitting alone as Kaythlen was attending to things , not one asked if I was "OK ' , could they get me a water or coffee . So in that sense you do get the feeling that its every man / woman for themselves . Even a friendly "hello" or nod would have gone a long way to making me feel still appreciated . But I guess in the final analysis it is all about the sale . And in that regard I was very lucky to have dealt with Kaythlen , Tony , and Sue . More
