My oil change indicator turned on (Sunday 7/16). I called the next morning for an appointment since I left for vacation on 7/21. I got an appointment for 7/20. The woman I spoke to on the phone at the service department scheduled me for an oil change and saw that I could get my recall fixed at the same time. She assured me that my vehicle would be ready the same day, since I needed to leave the next day on vacation. I dropped my car off for an 11am appointment on 7/20 and told the employee I was working with (Kendall) that the car was staying for the day and I needed it back at the end of the day since I was leaving for vacation. I received no updates on the car. I texted and tried to call several times. Heard nothing until about 4:15pm, when Kendall called me saying they were missing a part on the recall and could they keep the car until the next morning. I reminded him that we needed the car at the end of the day. He told me that they were going to finish up the oil change and get the car back to me. I'm frustrated because I made the appointment on a Monday for a Thursday for the oil change and recall. Why was the part for the recall not available?? There was plenty of time to make sure it was in stock. I told the employee on the phone when I made the appointment and Kendall the day of the appointment that I needed the car back that day and no one seemed to listen to me. Now I need to return to get the recall fixed, which is difficult. My van is the only car that fits all 3 of my children. So the next time I bring my van back, I'll have to keep them at home for the day. More
