The Less Than a Week Later, It’s Falling Apart!** My wife bought a Prius 5 from Hamilton Honda less than a week ago, and it’s already a disaster. The car **overheats**, has **no heat**, and **whines like crazy**. How does a car leave the lot in this condition? This isn’t just a disappointment; it’s a safety hazard. Selling a car this defective shows a complete lack of care for customers or quality control. My wife trusted Hamilton Honda, and they sold her a lemon. If this is how they do business, I’d warn anyone to think twice before stepping onto their lot. Save yourself the headache and avoid Hamilton Honda at all costs. We’ll be filing a formal complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Because this is unacceptable. Do better, scamilton Honda. If this happened to you here are some steps you can take to report Hamilton Honda's shady business practices: 1. **Gather Your Evidence** - Collect your purchase agreement, warranty, repair records, and any communication with the dealership. 2. **File a Complaint** - Go to the **New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs** website: [www.njconsumeraffairs.gov](www.njconsumeraffairs.gov) - Fill out the **Consumer Complaint Form** with details about SCAMILTON and your issue. 3. **Follow Up** - The state HAS TO investigate and may help resolve the issue. Bait ant switch. I called three times to verify if a vehicle was available for purchase that was on the lot. When I got there, they told me it was sold. Then they tri I called three times to verify if a vehicle was available for purchase that was on the lot. When I got there, they told me it was sold. Then they tried to upsell me another vehicle that had a bad transmission i discovered during the test drive. After telling them that we would never be able to make a deal and that numbers were too far apart. They insisted that we will be able to get close. So I went through all the xx the typical xx dealer usually Does when selling a car and in the end they came back with a ridiculous trade in value below kbb and more than $4000 less than what I’ve received from three other dealers. In the end, I walked out because we were so far off as I thought. Someone is going to get stuck with a vehicle with a bad transmission and now they know that. Bad bad bad More

I really felt his motivation was to help me and accurately inform me . I really trust Anthony as he was studying specific details of the carfax and double checking many aspects of the car to advise me. He also walked me through the steps very smoothly and that made a bid difference to me. We had purchased a Honda from Hamilton Honda before and we are really happy to work with them. In the financing team, Max was also terrific and very helpful! Thanks Anthony and Max! More
Approximately one month ago I received a notification from the Philadelphia Parking Authority that the 2007 Honda Civic that I sold to Hamilton Honda in May 2017 was still registered in my name. I went t from the Philadelphia Parking Authority that the 2007 Honda Civic that I sold to Hamilton Honda in May 2017 was still registered in my name. I went there in person twice, the first time someone who didn't even identify himself came up to me, handed me the bill of sale and said "this is all you need"...I asked to speak to the woman who sold me the car, who assured me the matter would be taken care of by Hamilton Honda, since it was obviously a major oversight on their part. I called and e-mailed her several times, and except for one partially written e-mail that made no sense, have not heard one thing back from her. (And by the way, her title is "customer relations manager" !). After receiving two more letters from the Philadelphia Parking Authority, I once again went to Hamilton Honda in person where at least one salesman did help me. The mental anguish that this has caused me is inexcusable.I was considering purchasing a new 2025 Honda HRV from Hamilton Honda, but if this is the way their customers are treated.......No Thank You !! Bought our car little over a year ago. ..Young lady seller was poor at her job, showed us the cars we were interested in including one as they were fixing the paint job?? Omg, the smell. Qu ..Young lady seller was poor at her job, showed us the cars we were interested in including one as they were fixing the paint job?? Omg, the smell. Quoted what to give for car after we said what thought, she thought it was okay, the manager was not so willing. Price we t up as all this stuff seemed to get added, had us go into some guy's cubicle well for an hour tried to talk us into a million things. Just wanted to buy a car, then get out of there. They only had 1 key?? We had to wait 5 weeks to get 2nd one. Now the WORST thing: it is a little over a year later and I got from NYC a parking violation ticket for over $100 on a New Jersey vehicle ( we live in PA just over bridge from Trenton) and we have a PA license of course. Well, we were given a Temporary license when we bought it which was valid for a month. The PA license came in and we drove the car back to the dealership and they Removed the Temporary license and put the new PA one on. Here, when we took the car back to do this they were to Remove the Temporary one and should have DESTROYED it. Well, they evidently did not , as THIS Temporary license was the one on the parking by a hydrant violation in NYC... So I get a fine mailed to me here in PA, and the Temporary License they removed "someone" put on another car and was driving up in the Bronx if NYC, and I wound up with the violation?? Then it turns out there are MORE using that Temporary Plate that was turned in. What a xxxx mess. My husband went back to the dealership and the guy felt bad and tried to refute one of their employees did it....saying people put at random numbers ? Omg, so who has a Temporary License business ?? I feel this was their dealership who screwed up, and by the way, the not so knowledgeable sales girl we had? Lol. She is No Longer There...OMG. And the guy didn't volunteer WHY....she quit, we t to another job, or was Fired? A bit suspicious and the guy didn't write anything up to give us to SEND to NYC either...We are STUCK handling this. He also didn't try to make it up to us... What a place. Would NEVER advise Anyone to buy a car there...I know we aren't ever gonna buy another there! Ugh! More
I purchased a vehicle I saw online after believing it to be an exceptional value. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by unexpected and excessive fees. A $999 inspection fee, in particular, seems exorb be an exceptional value. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by unexpected and excessive fees. A $999 inspection fee, in particular, seems exorbitant. While I understand the need for inspections, including this cost in the vehicle price would have presented a more transparent and customer-friendly approach. Despite paying a $999 inspection fee, multiple screws were discovered embedded in the new tires. Additionally, the $899 documentation fee appears excessive. Furthermore, Upon purchasing a vehicle and warranty valued at nearly $40,000, I encountered significant difficulty in obtaining a full tank of gas. The sales representative's resistance to this reasonable request was surprising and unprofessional. Their demeanor throughout the process was impolite and off-putting. The finance department provided excellent service and salvaged the deal. However, the sales representative's demeanor was indifferent and created a negative buying experience. Despite the added costs, the vehicle was unique and a desirable purchase. It is disappointing that these unnecessary obstacles detracted from what could have been a positive customer experience. I have teenage drivers who will require vehicles in the future, but based on this experience, it is unlikely I will return to your dealership. More

Service technician Benjamin did a great job diagnosing a strange noise coming from my steering wheel. Kudos to him and Service rep Kendall. (I have gone to plenty of dealership service divisions where diagn strange noise coming from my steering wheel. Kudos to him and Service rep Kendall. (I have gone to plenty of dealership service divisions where diagnosing a noise is just "too time-consuming" or they "just couldn't hear" what I had heard.) Good job, Hamilton Honda! More
