Bait and switch tactics on used cars was immediate, obvious, but not unexpected. I had a very similar experience a week earlier at another Mazda dealer over a thousand miles away. I visited Mazda Hamden on May 16, 2024 ready to buy either of 2 attractively priced 2021 CX-5's which were on their website that morning. Was told both had been sold a week earlier. They did not answer my question regarding why they were still advertising unavailable products and quickly switched to trying to sell new or vastly more expensive used vehicles. I must also mention that both vehicles are still listed in cars.com and Mazda Hamden's websites today, May 23rd. Disappointing waste of our time. More
