I had shopped all day long looking for the best price on a new kia soul. My last stop was Halleen kia and for a very good reason. Since April 2010, i had two vehicles that were at the end of their lease. I needed a new vehicle in April and one in August. I do not have good credit at all. Since then... i have been to, no exaggeration, 30+ dealerships looking for vehicles to fit my budget and vehicles that i felt were safe and reliable to put my son in. The only dealership that met my needs both times, 4 months apart, was Halleen Kia of North Olmsted. Every person on the staff was very friendly and delightful to work with. The best part of my experience was my Salesman. His name is Arnaldo Rivera and he is awesome!!!! This is a man that i learned in our conversation that he had recently lost a loved one in his family. He still had the same smile and professionalism that he did the first time we visited him. Amazing!!! On my second purchase, his shift ended at 6:00 pm and he left at 9:45 pm once our sale was complete. I can only assume that all of the Salesmen are the same. I WILL ALWAYS go to Halleen Kia first from this point on when i am looking for a vehicle. I WILL ALWAYS ask for Arnaldo Rivera to be my Salesman. I just purchased a 2011 Kia Sorento and WOW! The truck is fantastic but not half as fantastic as the sales person we purchased with. Jay Vicario was the best. This man had family in from out of town at his house for an event but that did not stop him. He was professional, courteous, and patient. Not the normal characteristic's of a car salesman. I spent all day at the dealership and Jay spent it with me. Even after I went into financing expecting Jay to leave for the day I was surprised when i came outside and saw Jay putting on my temporary tag. This man has passion for what he does and he does it well. I have already started passing his business cards out at the office of hoping i can pay him back with a few referrals for all of the time he afforded me. Kia the brand didn't sell this vehicle, Jay did. So my first stop in looking for a replacement was right there at Halleen Kia. I was in the Kia lot only a few minutes when Robert Taylor approached and asked if he could help. He helped indeed. I picked up my new Rio the next morning. Robert set the standard for my purchase experience with Halleen Kia. My first car-buying experience at Halleen was a fine one when I bought the 2001 Model and the service department has served me well for these 10 years. Robert, with his personable and helpful style, covered all of the bases including ones I didn't think to ask about. We had a fine test drive and covered the many details of my purchase and trade-in in an orderly, complete fashion. I didn't feel there were any surprises. I would like to see Robert recognized for the experience that I had. Perhaps these words will, to some small degree, encourage that recognition. More
