Sam greeted us outside as soon as we exited our car. He was very friendly and put us at ease at once. We reserved online a time to test drive a car and Sam must have done his homework because he knew all was very friendly and put us at ease at once. The test drive took us through city traffic and on the highway, which is what we had hoped for. Mr. Zayed was eager to answer any questions and seemed very proud to point out features on the car that were indeed great options. No question was stupid to Sam, nor did he ever leave the impression that one would be. When it came crunch time to talk money, Sam was willing to work with us to get us to the price and payments we needed. We tip our hats to Sam for his professionalism and attitude. We are in our 50's and, from all our other previous experiences, have learned to distrust auto salespeople, especially used car salespeople. Not Sam, though. He did a thorough job of putting us at ease and gaining our confidence. We certainly will remember this experience at Haleen KIA and we certainly will refer others to Haleen KIA. As we write this we have no second thoughts about the purchase of our 2006 Ford Focus, nor do we feel we could have done better. Sam's performance as a sales rep was well done, he came across articulated and educated, and he looked well- dressed and professional. Overall, we believe this was a win-win deal for us and for KIA. I also want to mention that Nilda Miller, the Internet Sales Consultant was also very, very helpful. She was extremely pleasant to talk to, she followed up with information that actually caused us to come in for a test drive, and her follow up was immediate and very, very, appreciated. Without her contacting us so soon with her follow up info, we had already decided we were not interested in the car. Great job, Nilda, great job! And, also, we would like to recognize the Finance Manager (we're gussing his title} that we know only as Steve. His personalilty, professionalism, attitude, wit, and knowledge immediately gained our trust. We think highly of Steve and believe he did his best to get us the very best rate available (better than the one we came in with!) and keep our payments where we wanted them. More
I had done my research online for a couple of weeks before deciding to buy. I looked at the websites of all the Kia dealers in the area. Halleen's website was a great resource, with a wealth of information on each vehicle and the bottom-line price. I decided on three vehicles I wanted to see. I set up an appointment online with Nilda for the next morning. When I arrived Nilda made me feel welcome and right at home. She set me up with Rob Taylor to look at the cars I was interested in. Unfortunately, one of the 3 had already been sold, so I looked at a Forte EX, and a more expensive Forte SX. It didn't take long before I knew the SX wasn't the right car for me, and Rob respected my decision. I felt no pressure at all to sell me or talk me into the higher priced car. We took the EX for a test drive. Rob suggested a longer route than the one I had in mind, to give me a better feel for the car. He was very helpful with any questions I had during the test. When I decided to buy, Rob got to work getting the paperwork and financing in order. Rob was a pleasure to work with. Helpful, informative, down to earth, no high pressure tactics. Nilda was also great. She checked on me several times during the process to see how things were going and to ask if I needed anything. Mostly high marks for the entire operation at Halleen, thanks to Nilda and especially Rob. My one beef is rather minor, but still important. Actually, maybe not that minor. The final step of the process, the financial department, took way too long. Apparently there were a couple of people ahead of me. Once I got in with Oleg, I understood why it took so long, LOL. This was the only time in the process I felt pressured by an aggressive sales pitch, uncomfortably so. I have no problem at all with Oleg, he was friendly and courteous, but he doesn't like to hear "no thanks" when pitching his extra warranties, insurances, add-ons, etc. I realize he's just doing his job, trying to make the dealership some extra money on the back end of the deal. I get it. However, each "no thanks" was met with 5 to 10 minutes of sales pitch, rather than moving on. Overall, including the (mostly) sitting in a cubicle waiting, the financial paperwork took an hour. This needs to be tightened up. Overall, my experience was great at Halleen, again. I'm a repeat customer there, and will be again. More

Overall we had an exceptional experience at Halleen Kia. Rob Taylor, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable without being pushy. Rob was perfectly fine with our slow approach to a big purchase and didn't make us feel like the deal needed to happen all in one day.
