Sales manager tried to profit off their mistake I bought a car they told me had not been in an accident. Turns, out, it had been in an accident. They claimed it was a mistake. Fair enough. And kept having problems. Small issues at first they were able to remedy, but then a larger issue that was symptomatic of bigger things to come (steering wheel suddenly losing alignment with wheels for no reason). The sales manager KNEW they had made the mistake in accidentally misrepresenting the vehicle to me (they admitted this to me), and he KNEW the car was having ongoing issues. Rather than do the obvious right thing and take the car back so I could purchase another from them, he straight up told me "we don't want the car", and "offered" me a "deal" that would have cost me a LOSS of $6,000 dollars (low ball offer for my misrepresented-by-them car, plus loss of taxes paid, dealer fees paid, and loss of value from my traded in vehicle). I had to contact Subaru of America and file a complaint, and then go over the sales manager's head and contact the VP of Halladay motors directly to let him know about the situation, let him know I'd filed the complaint, and that I would seek legal action if a satisfactory resolution was not reached. ONLY THEN did they do the right thing by taking back the vehicle. To the VP's credit he did not hesitate in setting things right. They refunded the original purchase, they gave me a fair deal on a known good car of similar make, model and miles, and they also gave Certified Pre-owned Status to the replacement car for the peace of mind I was originally looking for, and I thank the VP for this gesture, I really do. HOWEVER, because of the intentional efforts of their sales manager to profit at my expense by leveraging Halladay Motor's gross mistake in misrepresenting the car, I cannot with good conscience recommend this dealership to those unable to fight tooth and nail to not be taken advantage of by their sales manager's predatory practices. I know too many people who are either timid, passive, insecure in themselves, or who lack the financial means to pursue legal action (I include the version of me 10 years ago in this category as well) that would have simply lost out on their hard earned money were they faced with this same situation, and I care about them as much as I do myself. Sad the sales manager chose to try and profit at my expense rather than do the obvious right thing, but he did, and I would not feel good about keeping this to myself, since I care about those coming after me that might not be able to push as hard as I needed to to see an equitable resolution reached over a large mistake that was theirs, not mine. Upon checking out and completing the paperwork they showed me a big scratch on the drivers door. They promised to fix it and I was told just bring it in sometime, I would get a loaner and they would make it easy for me. So within a few weeks I was returning to Cheyenne, which is an 80 mile drive, I called and they said, oh no, you have to come on a Wednesday. So I was expected to take a day off work to bring my car in for something they let me drive away with and promised to fix. Well, I finally have a Wednesday off. I called a couple of days ago to set up having my car fixed and they said come on down. I arrive and was informed that they don't know when the guy who fixes scratches will be in! Also a piece fell off the hood by the windshield, they ordered it, but cannot find it! I kind of feel like after they got the money that I didn't matter as a customer. I am so disappointed. I am single, a cancer survivor, and had to work very hard for this car. More

I have never written a review before but my experience at Subaru in Cheyenne was totally outstanding which required me to tell others. The buying experience was GREAT! Jared was my sales person and it couldn't have been better - I had many questions and he knew all of the answers, including spending a lot of time going over everything about and in the Forester with both my wife and myself. When it came down to buying Darin the sales manager took over - it was the first time I had ever enjoyed buying a car. They made me a great deal and have taken very good care of us - a GREAT dealership for sure. Make sure you give them a chance before trying to buy anywhere else. More

This was the 2nd new subaru in less then 2 weeks the first one was hailed on.The sales Manager Darin Porter and salesman Scott Barta were went totally This was the 2nd new subaru in less then 2 weeks the first one was hailed on.The sales Manager Darin Porter and salesman Scott Barta were went totally went above and beyond we traded the hail damaged one for new one they were totally awesome me and my were totally amazed at this and have a customer for life.We are totally satisfied with our purchase totally a++ thanks to Darin and Scott and the car is great. After visiting the website we decided to stop and test drive the Crosstrek since there was one on the lot that had a manual transmission. Once we drove the Crosstrek we feel in love with its handling and comfort. Jared Williams was so knowledgeable on all of the safety features along with how the options all worked. Once we committed to purchasing the Subaru the rest of the Subaru team was so wonderful to work with us for our trade in and using our own bank for financing. We could not have asked for a better experience and we would recommend that everyone should give them a try. More
