I will be back! I have to be honest I was not looking forward to buying a new car. When I bought my wife's Toyota 2 years ago I made the mistake of going to a dealership in Virginia. It took 5 hours to complete the purchase. So when it came time to buy my Tundra, we decided to give Toyota of Elizabeth City a try. My wife was nervous because of the poor reviews she had read online, but we figured we would give them a chance, and I am sure glad we did. From the moment we arrived on the lot to the time we drove off in my new Tundra took us less than 2 hours. Maurice was great! He worked with us to find the Tundra I wanted. He then worked with me to get to a price I was comfortable with (Curly helped out with this as well). Byron took care of all the paper work in a timely manner, explaining everything in detail for us. All three of these gentlemen were outstanding to work with. I must admit this is the first time I have driven away from a dealership feeling satisfied about my purchase. I will definitely be returning to Toyota of Elizabeth City for my next car purchase. More

Lied too Was told if I brought in part of my downpayment today 2/13/2017 and sign a promisary note for the rest I could do the deal today. Go in after I get off 4 hours later after I was told this and I was told we could do the paperwork and take my $1,000 but wouldn't be able to drive away with the car until I brought the rest! What changed in 4 hours is what I asked the salesperson (he was fanastic) and he said the sales manager would be out to speak to me. I waited 2 hours before the finance manager walks out and tells me some xx reason about the salesperson being on the ropes for the money. (I've sold cars this is was straight up lie and I knew it). I simply wanted to know why I was told one thing in person by a sales manager and another thing 4 hours later. The finance manager didn't sit down and talk to me. She stood over me and looked down on me when she fed me that lie. She was very condescending and even if the wheels of my current car rolls off you will not get my business. Better places in Elizabeth City to buy new vehicles and there is other Toyota Dealers that are only 30 minutes to drive too. More

I dealt with Pamela Yamboa and Lance Greiner. I came away very impressed. My friend just told me the other day that this place has changed, it has. Great service I usually dread buying a car, but this was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Horrible from start to finish. The only thing they did was sell the vehicle. Tags were not handled properly, insurance was not handles properly, no one ever from start to finish. Not very attentive; not very informative I went in for a simple sensor replacement, and by the time I left, had to walk out with a new (used) car, after being told that the mechanic really di I went in for a simple sensor replacement, and by the time I left, had to walk out with a new (used) car, after being told that the mechanic really didn't want to release the car after having completed several diagnostics that would have resulted in me having to pay $2200 for repairs if I had taken my car home that day. Scotty, my salesman was not very attentive to my requests, and even when I spoke with yhe floor manager, he dismissed me and acted like I was a waste of selling time. I understand that the main job of a salesman is to sell, but at least pretend like you care if I'm fishing out $15,000 to your dealership. Won't go back to these people. They're an insult to your intelligence, customer service, and lacking in even decent salesman tactics. More
No Ethics Had bought 2016 Limited Tacoma at this dealership, was in for 6 month service after 2017's were on lot, had thought about trading for leftover 2016 Tu Had bought 2016 Limited Tacoma at this dealership, was in for 6 month service after 2017's were on lot, had thought about trading for leftover 2016 Tundra, 6k difference in window stickers, sales manager wanted my truck plus 20k! Very poor sales tactics, in end sales manager made offer he would not honor. Than, service department signed off on work not performed, can not trust. Salesman called me 2 weeks after being at dealership, asked if I was still interested in a Tundra, said I was but they needed a better deal, he hung up! Stay away! More
