We had an EXCELLENT experience at Hall Toyota in Elizabeth City this past weekend while buying our truck! Let me start by saying I am absolutely NOT a fan of car dealerships, or car sales personnel. Elizabeth City this past weekend while buying our truck! Let me start by saying I am absolutely NOT a fan of car dealerships, or car sales personnel. I usually have to grit my teeth, and bite my tongue when dealing with car salesmen. But we hit the goldmine with Donavan, and the sales team here. After a 4 hour drive, We showed up 45 minutes before closing on a Saturday, fully expecting to be rushed, and treated as a nuisance. This was not the case at all- Donavan greeted us at the door with a smile and was so sweet. He made us feel welcome, and comfortable. We already knew the truck we wanted, just needed a test drive and to do papers. Everything happened promptly, but not rushed in any way. We never once felt like we were a problem. Donavan was extremely professional, very friendly, and my husband and I instantly connected with him. We really enjoyed working with him, and buying our truck through him. I actually wanted to pay more for the truck just so he would get a higher commission. (That’s a big deal for me). I can not speak highly enough about Donavan. He is a wonderful young man, and extremely talented with music. He even shared some of his music with us while we waited for things to process. It was nice to have a salesman who we could have a personal connection, and conversation with. We left truly feeling like he was part of the family. Our kids loved him as well. The next day they were asking when they could go see him again. He definitely positively impacted our lives. We are thankful that our paths crossed his in life. Thank you so much to the guys at Hall Toyota Saturday night! I wish I could remember the names of the sales manager, and the man who did our finance papers. They were both wonderful as well. The gentleman who does the finance part is quick, but through. He made things very easy. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others, and it was ABSOLUTELY worth the 4 hour drive one way.
