Zach has a tendency to speak in a demeaning way to the consumer and in a sales oriented business this is definitely working against the company's long-term objectives for growth. We remembered buying a car from there 7yrs prior to making this purchase. We never forgot Ernest Bridgette and was glad to have seen him again on yesterday. He remembered us when we walked in which was wonderful and made us feel like family he hadn't seen in awhile. We asked to see a CX-9 in my favorite color silver, Ernest made us feel so comfortable and was so knowlegeable about the CX-9 Touring. We did make the puchase and everything went smoothly and it was a very pleasant experience. The manager Calvin was awesome, Steve in finance awesome & Ernest AWESOME. Ernest took out the time to show us how to sync my cell phone to the bluetooth system in the vehicle. He probably was ready to go home but never showed that to us. By the time we actually left the dealership it was 6p & the building was locked up and everyone went home. I appreciated the fact that Ernest stayed back with us ttake out so much time to help us set up cell phones etc... Knowing they closed @5p on a Sunday. We would definitely buy another car in the future from Hall Mazda & hope we will be seeing Ernest for many years to come. His personalty is extraordinary and we love doing business with him again. The entire staff we dealt with made us truly feel like family. More
These guys are clowns, I wanted to buy a Mazda 3 so I figured why not go to the local Mazda Dealership and give it a try. First off you get rushed at the door the salesmen sit outside like sharks. I loved the 3 so I wanted to buy. I then met the sales manager Zach Byrd who was okay ( A bit ugly) but that is neither here nor there. They kept tiring to me to finance the car when I told them My father would be there shortly with a check. Zach then told me to stop wasting time and either to hurry up with buying the car or to go home because he had an event after work. Robert kept pressuring me into tiring to agreeing to do the paper work so we could all go home. My father was 15 min away and Zach said thanks for ruining my night go home and don;t come back. I would not have considered going anywhere else once I had decided to purchase a new vehicle after my beloved Mazda5 was totaled in an accident. Virgil was the perfect salesperson for me, enthusiastic and informative without being pushy at all and very helpful. They were able to get me in the exact vehicle that I wanted within my budget, I couldn't possibly be happier. I WENT TO HALL MAZDA TO MEET WITH A SALESMAN I HAD BEEN WORKING WITH ON THE PHONE. AS I WAS WALKING TOWARD THE DOOR, I WAS GREETED BY THE NICEST MOST FRIENDLY MAN WHO INFORMED ME THAT MY SALESMAN WASN'T IN WORKING WITH ON THE PHONE. AS I WAS WALKING TOWARD THE DOOR, I WAS GREETED BY THE NICEST MOST FRIENDLY MAN WHO INFORMED ME THAT MY SALESMAN WASN'T IN THAT DAY AND HE WOULD BE HAPPY TO HELP ME. FROM THE MINUTE WE GOT STARTED IN MY SEARCH FOR A NEW CAR, I KNEW I WAS IN GREAT HANDS. WORKING WITH ERNEST BRIDGETTE WAS BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAD HAD IN MY LONG QUEST FOR A GREAT USED CAR THAT MET MY NEEDS. HE LISTENED TO EVERYTHING I WANTED AND QUICKLY SHOWED ME A FEW OF MY BEST CHOICES. I WAS ABLE TO TEST DRIVE A GREAT CAR ON MY OWN TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL AND WHEN I BROUGHT HER BACK ERNEST MADE HER FEEL SO SPECIAL. Had a wonderful experience with Ernest. He was down to earth, felt like me and my husband were not only valued as customers but as people too. Another salesman during the day of our actual purchase took us for a test drive because Ernest was helping some other customers. That test drive of the Mazda 6, was one of the best we ever had not only allowed us to just drive the car but put emphasis on the cars overall performance features. Which made the Mazda 6 a must have car for us, on a previous visit we were considering a Mazda 3, however that test drive sold us the car. The whole car buying experience can be a stressful process, but all the people we encountered during the process made it fun, and productive. The Service Department at this dealership has great customer relations skills! They introduced themselves when I came in with my (towed in) car, made sure I was aware of everything that was happening/g customer relations skills! They introduced themselves when I came in with my (towed in) car, made sure I was aware of everything that was happening/going to happen with my car, and immediately put me at ease (having car trouble can be so stressful, right?). They explained what they would do, arranged for me to have a rental car while mine was being diagnosed. My car arrived after 4pm yessterday... they started on it first thing today. They stayed in touch with me about the progress, the cost, and the timeframe to completion. While they had the car they also performed a "multi-point" inspection, which I understand is standard procedure, and informed me of maintenance items I needed to be aware of and that were coming up. There was no pressure or sales pitch to have the work done and they were up-front about the costs if I did choose to. Some people would suggest they were shopping for more work. I view it as good customer service; they know much more about the car than I do and see it in ways I never do. And I know first-hand that taking care of a car makes the car last much longer and with fewer problems. One suggestion was a front-end alignment. When I thought about it I realized that for some time I had noticed the car "pulling" and they saw it in the tire wear, so I said YES... on the way home, the car handled much better and they were right to let me know about it. In addition, the repair/original problem was covered under my extended warranty, and they checked and verified what was covered, the deductible, etc. and told me almost to the penny what my cost would be. All in all, I would say that my service experience at Hall Mazda was surprisingly pleasant, and I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for Mazda service. More
