We began with Hall Mazda simply because it was near where we were shopping at the time. We came away with a feeling that the Mazda was the "right fit." Unfortunately Hall did not have a certified used vehicle in the class we wanted. One day later, Hall called to say a car was available; we decided it wasn't for us. The next day Hall called and it had the right car, within our price range, with even lower mileage than we imagined and one year younger. We came right down, did the math, haggled a little and closed the deal. Honda, Nissan and Ford did not even get visited. Express lane for oil and Lib I was in Hall today, mind you I have been a customer since 1998, I brought my wife's 2000 Miata which she purchased new and has never been to any oth I was in Hall today, mind you I have been a customer since 1998, I brought my wife's 2000 Miata which she purchased new and has never been to any other dealership ever for an oil change. Waited for an hour and was told my car was ready but it has an engine check light on. ( the engine light was not on when I arrived there). I asked what could the problem be since it wasn't on when I arrived? They said it would cost $69.00 to check and had to make an appointment to have this done. I left the dealership and went to Autozone and they checked the code for FREE and was only the gas cap had been tampered with. Wow! So I went back to Mazda and they were not to happy with my accusations. Talked to General Manager, Mike White and he said he could not do anything. Ps I hope this isn't any inclination if what hold for my future visits there.. Things were much better when the Hall family owned it. More
I always come to Hall Mazda for Service on my RX8. Greg and his crew are always extremely friendly and no nonsense. I can't stress enough how comfortable the atmosphere at this dealership is. Sure, I can hunt for a mom and pop shop to get my maintenance done for a bit cheaper, but it really is the friendly, competent service at Hall that keeps me coming back. It's rare to find a service center that has such a comfortable feel to it. I don't find myself in the shop very often, yet Greg knows my name and knows my car. It's a good feeling. Plus, the coffee machine in their waiting room is really cool too haha. More
Everything went well until I actually bought a vehicle, at that point all bets were off. I bought a vehicle on wednesday and brought it home. A problem was found with the vehicle so I contacted Hall Autmotive in Virginia Beach only to find it was not covered by my warranty . So even with a warranty their word is worthless. You would think they would have enough integrity to stand behind their vehicle but unfortunately they seem to have no integrity. I'm sure this review will be removed or at least hidden but in the meantime buyer beware, you can't have any faith in these people. Do NOT purchase a vehicle from the people More
I have to say, I considered and researched MANY different 7 passenger vehicles for my large family, tried to get many different quotes for different dealers, I had horrible responses from the Hall internet t 7 passenger vehicles for my large family, tried to get many different quotes for different dealers, I had horrible responses from the Hall internet teams at their other dealerships, EXCEPT with Misty Martinez at Hall Mazda. Once I mentioned I had a lower quote from another dealer, she was quick to get to me an amazing price. When I went to the dealership, she gave me Virgil Ware as my salesman. He was AMAZING. I already knew exactly what I wanted, I had my price set, came in pre approved, so I was all set, but Virgil did NOT pressure me on anything. I wanted specific features, none of the vehicles on the lot fit my wants perfectly, I wanted red. I wasn't pressured into another color they had on the lot. The staff had no problems locating and getting the vehcile to the dealership for me. Even though we already pre-approved for a GREAT interest rate, Paula Vargas in financing was able to get and even better rate and gave us no pressure to buy any adds on (extended warranty, paint/leather protection). I got what I was looking for for my trade in (which was $1000 MORE than another dealer...and I had to push for the other dealer to get it to what they had, which was still unacceptable.) I had be DREADING buying a new car because it's usually such a long tedious process, but this was best and easiest car buying experience EVER!! Oh, and I can't forget how I went in on July 31st, my husband was working so I was getting all the details ironed out before he came in (which wasn't going to be until the next day), but because it was the last day of the month, they needed all the paperwork signed so they could get it to corporate and just in case the incentives changed for August (which they didn't but if they had been better we would have gotten the better rebates). Virgil brought the papers TO US AT OUR HOUSE! Now if that isn't great customer service I don't what is! THANK YOU VIRGIL and the Hall Mazda team!! I LOVE my red 2013 CX-9! More
