Don't bother - they don't really want your business I tried for almost 3 weeks to get somebody to answer me via email about TWO cars I wanted to purchase from this dealership. Since I don't live in the area, I was prepared to start the communication via email because I wanted to make sure they still had BOTH cars AND that each car was really in the shape it showed on the website. I was willing to give them my phone number but ONLY if they would first respond to a couple of questions via email. I think we all know what happens when you give your phone number to places when you want to buy something. They say they have something, then you find out they don't, and all of a sudden you get at least one call a day saying they have something they're sure you'll ike. Each time I emailed - a total of FIVE times - I would receive nothing more than an automated email returned to me stating I should be sure to watch for a "real" email back from Hall Imports soon. I guess their definition of soon is a lot different than mine. I even tried different email addresses, including the one for Scott Hopfler, since the first automated response I received was from him. Still nothing. My take on this: Don't bother with this dealership if you don't live in their city. Apparently they don't need business from out of town buyers - even if you want to buy more than one car. My question is this: If they don't want to deal with potential out of town buyers, why bother to add their vehicles to websites such as cars.com, cargurus.com, truecar.com, etc.???? I definitely won't be bothering them again. Apparently my money isn't good at their dealership. More

Everyone there was extremely personable and not pushy at all like I found at many others. They were upfront and extremely fair with my trade in and pricing on the new vehicle we decided to lease. I have never worked with such a great team from the sales person, the person appraising my trade in and finally to the financing office. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car, you won't regret it and will feel good pulling off the lot knowing you made the right decision. More

He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on the convertible, the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. Even though they were very busy when we arrived on a Saturday, several people touched base with us to let us know a salesperson would be with us ASAP. (Even a member of the service team routed us to the sales Mgr, and explained that a few sales people were on vacation.) It was a privilege to work with Nate who got us behind the wheel of our new car, and sent us out for a drive. (Thank you for not coming along!) We felt very comfortable with him, obviously a seasoned professional, and the whole buying process was as smooth as could be. We felt like the sticker price and trade-in numbers were honest and straight forward, and turned out where we wanted to be. Also, taking care of some of the financial details with Chris was a a pleasure. Smart, friendly, competent, down to earth people who treated US like people. Had service done here in the past on our summer Cabrio, and are glad to be back! Thanks for a great Sat. afternoon! More

I have 2 kids that will be in the market for a car soon and I'll definitely go back to Scott and Hall. More
Disgusting dishonesty We went to Hall to ask about the process of ordering a new Atlas. The sales person (Travis) initially told us that the final price we would pay depend We went to Hall to ask about the process of ordering a new Atlas. The sales person (Travis) initially told us that the final price we would pay depended on the deals/promotions that VW was offering when the vehicle arrived at the dealership (which he also said could take up to 12 weeks). We weren’t overly eager to order a new vehicle without having an agreed upon price beforehand, so we told him that we would check with other dealers. Before we left, he asked if we had a specific number in mind, that if he could meet, would prompt us to order the new vehicle. We told him the price we were willing to pay and left. A few days later I received a text from Travis saying that he had checked with his sales manager, and they had agreed to sell us the vehicle for the price we had told him. I called Travis and verified the price repeatedly with him. I even confirmed with him that it was an out the door price with everything included. After he assured me I would not pay a dollar more than the price they were offering, I told him to place the order. Over the next several weeks, I received nothing from Hall specific to the vehicle we had ordered. I also had no communication with Travis unless I called him. I did speak with him a few times, and expressed my concern about not having received any sort of documentation from Hall about the agreed upon price (only his text message indicating the price which I still have). Travis repeatedly told me that was the typical process when ordering a new vehicle, and once again assured me the price would be no more than what we had agreed. The process still seemed odd to me, so I called and spoke with a sales manager Max. I told Max that I was uncomfortable with the process, because the last thing I wanted to do when our vehicle finally arrived was haggle over the price. Max told me it was the normal process and that I wouldn’t pay anymore than the price we had agreed on. After almost 12 weeks, we went to pick up our new vehicle. We met with Max who promptly told us that the MSRP had gone up, and there was nothing he could do about it. He informed us that we would now have to pay over $800 more than the price we had agreed on and that I had confirmed with both he and Travis numerous times. He was also very unapologetic and instead initially attempted to make excuses as to why we had been lied to. He spent several minutes making ridiculous excuses before he must have realized how nonsensical he sounded and finally admitted they had made a mistake. However, he was extremely insincere and told us that no one was making us buy the vehicle. While that statement is true, it does not take into account that we had been lied to REPEATEDLY regarding the price and also waited approximately 3 months for our new vehicle to be built. Because my wife and I were not eager to walk out and start the process over, we eventually agreed to pay the higher price. My wife and I were thoroughly disgusted with our experience at Hall as I believe any decent person would have been. The dishonesty of the employees we dealt with was aggregious and deplorable. More
