We originally came into the dealership to have a used car checked out from another car lot that our daughter wanted to purchase. We were passing time by looking at cars in the lot - one of the salesmen, Pap checked out from another car lot that our daughter wanted to purchase. We were passing time by looking at cars in the lot - one of the salesmen, Papa Seck, asked if we needed assistance. Explaining that our visit was just to have a used Honda Accord checked out for possible purchase, and upon hearing the details of the car & price we were going to pay, he said, "I can beat that!" He showed us a just traded in '07 Honda Civic EX which my daughter fell in love with, but was just a bit above her desired price range. We told him we had to talk about it & needed to wait for the inspection on the other car to be completed anyway - so would be back after getting coffee. Papa took the time to walk over to the Starbucks, where we told him we would be, just to tell us he had found another car that might meet our needs and was less expensive (WOW!!!) He understood that our daughter (19 yr old college student) was paying for the car herself - it was not a gift from Mom & Dad, and that her money was tight. It was clear that he truly wanted to help us rather than get as much money as he could. Which is VERY appreciated in these tough economic times! As it turned out, the used car we brought in to be checked was a complete lemon and needed $3200 worth of work! The Honda mechanics that checked it were VERY thorough and took my husband into the service area to show him all the problems they found. Long story short, my daughter ended up buying the first car Papa showed her - the 2007 Civic EX. He knew she would be driving up & back to Nashville, TN from Virginia Beach, VA and stressed the safety features & safety record of the Civic. This made us very comfortable (as parents) and my daughter comfortable with the amount of money she would be spending on a "reliable" car! Our deal was closed late in the day and the car had just been traded in the night before. The only thing we feel that could have been handled better was the "detailing" of the car. We felt it could have been cleaner upon delivery. When we expressed our thoughts on this to Papa, he immediately remedied the situation by offering money off the price of the car to cover us having it cleaned again. This was PERFECT for us. Our daughter wanted to drive off the lot with her new car that night - not wait until the next day so it could be cleaned again. Everything other aspect of our encounter with Hall Honda was fantastic. Everyone we dealt with was happy, pleasant and helpful. My daughter was thrilled to have her photo taken with her new car for Hall Autos Facebook page. I even posted our own video and picture on their page. It was a very satisfying experience! More

As a newly single woman who truly does know very little about cars, finding a mechanic that I can trust and depend on with honesty and integrity has become very important to me. J. Horst at Hall Honda in Virginia Beach has exemplified such authentic integrity! Although the price of fixing my 1995 Honda Accord is proving not to be worth it, Mr. Horst has done an outstanding job of helping me understand my car, how it operates, and why possibly a new car would be in my better interest at a far more affordable and long-term rational investment. His clear dedication to excellent customer service has allowed me to openly receive his professional opinion about my personal best automotive interests and I sincerely appreciate him and his team for their care and committment. I purchased my vehicle 4 years ago and I am a very pleased customer. When I purchased my vehicle, I received a great deal, and not only that but I also received "red carpet" treatment as if my vehicle pleased customer. A great customer service is why I drive approximately 90 miles roundtrip to receive regular maintenance. I could have gone to First Team, which was only 20 minutes from my residence, but the service could not match Hall Honda. In fact, I referred my roommate, and the next month,she purchased her vehicle there as well. For anyone looking for a great deal on a car and quality service, I recommend Hall Honda where every visit is a "red carpet" event. More

I pulled off the highway and close to the off-ramp was Hall Honda. Justin immediatley assured us that he could help us...oh, and it was 4:oo in the afternoon on a Saturday. At the dealership, my check engine light came on and the drove it back to inspect. James was fast, efficient, and professional in finding our problem. They ordered the part ( coil pack #3) and said it whould be in on Tuesday. My service advisor was switched to J Horst and everything continusd to be smooth. He kept me informed every step of the way. The part came in and Jeffery immediately picked me up so I could continue my trip back to my home in North Caroilna. Our family can't thank Hall Honda for the service and kindness. It is not fun having car problems, but especially difficult having the problem without my husband there and out of state. The entire staff that I dealt with was professional and kind. They surely put their customers first. Thank you Hall Honda for saving the day for our family!!! More
This review is for the great service I received from all 5 of my visits to Hall Honda. Let me go back alittle bit. We arrived from Japan (military family) w/no vehicle. Knowing I wanted a Odyssey van I started looking right away. Found a used 05 w/32,000 miles on. (CERTIFIED) I loved it, Lot's of room for all. Everything was great until Aug 08. The first time my engine light came on. Van wasn't shifting back into 6 cy from ECO. Brought it in for the first time, pulled up at Hall Honda's service desk and David Bledsoe asked how he could help me. From this moment David treated me like I was a VIP. While I was in the waiting room he showed up asking if I needed anything and needed to go anywhere while I waited. He made sure all my questions were answered to my understanding, explained what is happening w/my van and where the problem had been and how it was fixed. He made sure I had transportation due to I had to leave my van overnight. Called me at home making sure the rental was ok and called me when the job had been finished. He was always very friendly even after all the questions that I did ask. I do believe he went above and beyond his job to insure I was satisfied. GREAT JOB DAVID! While this is now my 5th trip to Hall Honda w/the same promblem, the first 3 visits David has helped me w/the same service as before. The last 2 visit, Jay Hurst is now doing the job that David did. Jay must have had training from David because I received the same VIP treatment from Jay. In fact this last time I drove in, I received a smile and they both are so sorry about the problem you are having w/the van. My van is still in the shop, waiting for the same part, and I am not sure what I will do w/my van. This is the 5th trip in the shop w/the same problem. Since I bought the van used I am not intitled to the lemon law. I like my van but I now have a bad feeling about my van and this situation will happen again. More
After I bought my car with Hall Honda, the passenger side mirror became loose and the alignment felt off. I called in to the Gold Service Team and indicated the problem. When I got the car back the first time, the mirror and alignment were fixed. A few days later the mirror became loose again. I called service and spoke with J Horst. He was concerned that the mirror was loose and apologized for not having it fixed. Steve Hug suggested Brian Culp, master technician, look at the mirror. He was able to take care of the problem. Since my last visit the mirror has worked perfectly. Everyone I worked with was prompt in their service, friendly, polite, showed concern for the customer, and even followed up with me to make sure everything was still in working condition.
