In search of a 2017 CPO Pilot We were searching the internet for a 2017 Certified Pre Owned Honda Pilot and found two listed at Hall Honda in Virginia Beach. We contacted the de We were searching the internet for a 2017 Certified Pre Owned Honda Pilot and found two listed at Hall Honda in Virginia Beach. We contacted the dealership online and were put in touch with Jaylen Smith for followup. Due to a very recent bad sales experience at another Honda dealership, we then contacted Erin Bessey, the GM at Hall Honda in Virginia Beach, explained the previous situation, and she encouraged us to come in and see how business was done in her dealership. From the moment we walked in the door, it was like night and day. We were introduced to Craig Belda, a Used Vehicle Manager, who welcomed us and took us over to meet Jaylen Smith. Jaylen, who is very knowledgeable and enthuiastic, took over and listened to what we were looking for and explained that one Pilot had already sold but he had the 2nd one ready for us to test drive. At that point, Mr Belda came over and introduced Erin Bessey, who thanked us for coming up from North Carolina and giving her dealership a chance to sell us what we were looking for. After a very informative ride with Jaylen, we returned to the dealership and sat down to negotiate. Although the sales price on the internet was very fair, we quickly came to a lower sales price which was agreeable to both of us. Throughout all of this, Jaylen patiently listened to all our questions and he either answered or got an answer right away from his supervisors so we left with nothing unanswered. At that point we were turned over to Amanda Carroll, one of the Business Managers, to complete the sale. We found her very knowledgeable and professional. And what we liked best of all, no pressure! Three and a half hours after we walked in, we drove out in our "new" Pilot. If you're considering a Honda purchase anywhere in NE North Carolina or Hampton Roads you would be well served by getting yourself to Virginia Beach and doing business with Hall Honda. More
