Worst Ford Service center ever!!! I brought my truck in Saturday after calling and making an appointment for first thing on Monday. As I went into the dealership once again we were ass I brought my truck in Saturday after calling and making an appointment for first thing on Monday. As I went into the dealership once again we were assured that first thing Monday it would be on the hoist and we would have a call first thing Monday to let us know of any extra servicing because we needed the truck back by Monday evening. Katie was the rudest person I have ever met, as we walked out of the service area I told my husband how uncomfortable it was and he agreed. We almost took my truck back to bring to VA instead, but we agreed that it was already there, other Ford dealerships have always been great to us (not this place). Monday morning turns into noon, I called and am on hold and being transferred for a solid 15 minutes and Katie picks up the phone and the call is dropped. I call back because they didn't bother to call back and get transferred to Katie right away? I asked about the truck and she said they haven't done the work because their Internet was down, and she tried to hang up, so I quickly ask was there any other work, she said she doesn't know the mechanic is on lunch. This is noon...she tries to hang up all the time giving me the snarkiest attitude. Next I ask what work is getting done today and she rudely answers, whatever you were quoted and hangs up! I am so miffed and ready to go grab my truck! So I call the manager who tells me we made the appointment later in the day, I call out her lie right away. Next she tells me lie after lie about my truck, that they were working on it for an hour and a half already, and that as we were speaking he was draining the oil. She tried running me around on my ford truck..a farm girl who comes from a family that exclusively owns fords and a dad who is a mechanic with his own shop. On top of that I am a forester from the Canadian Rockies and they tried telling me I needed to change my brand new expensive mountian rugged tires because they are cut up...wow trying to steal my tired too!!! There are many more things I won't even get into on here, but I know trucks and this place obviously does not and heavily lacks any civility, courtesy or respect. More

We have had nothing but problems with this dealership and will never go back. They didn't want to honor our warranty on our 2010 Hyundai Elantra when it was a defective transmission. We had to drive to Virginia to get it fixed. The customer service rep Amanda should be fired. She is very argumentative and rude. Then they used masking take to fix an electrical problem on our vehicle and had the nerve to blame it on another body shop. This place is a joke. More
Service department is POOR. We have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with only 58,000 miles with a automatic transmission that was starting to run rough. When stopped it would race into gears or slip. We took it in to the service department and they said to get a coolant flush and transmission flush. We did and the problem didn't go away. Then they told us that Firestone didn't put in the correct transmission flush which is a load of BS. It all comes down to they didn't' want to fix the problem and guarantee our warranty. We then took it to Priority Hyundai in Chesapeake Va. They helped us right away. Put in a new transmission and gave us a loaner car. I will never take my car or truck to Hall Ford Hyundai again. They are rude to their customers and do not know what they are doing. They could have easily fixed this problem. More

On my annual visit to OBX with my family my CPO Ford Explorer will not come off park gear lever neither would the AC work. I called the Ford roadside assistance and I was told the closest dealership will be Halls Ford, Elizabeth City, NC. I made an appointment for the next day and drove 60 miles to the dealership. I was greeted warmly by Shannon who walked me through the process and said she will have the tech take a look at the truck first thing in the morning. Around 10:00 AM I receive a call from Shannon stating that the tech was unable to detect the cause for the fault and would need to charge me a second hr of labor which equals to $120. I authorized it since I was out of town and had no other means. I received another call from Shannon close to 12:30 p.m and said that they where still unable to diagnose the problem and the estimate would be around $1023 without any guarantees that they would be able to fix it. At that point I told her to just return the car as is. When I went to the dealership there was a total of $390.00 waiting for me. There was a charge of $45 for shop supplies. I questioned that and she took it off. The other charges was $120/hr for 2 hours labor and AC check. The revised bill was $329.77 and the car was not fixed. I would agree a dealership charging a flat diagnostic fee, but what irritates me is that they are charging me for each hour they spend on my car due to their lack of ability to fix my car. For minor oil changes this might be a place to go but I would stay from this place if you have anything major. IF you are out of towner forget about it. I believe the advisor was nice, but there is nothing much she can do if her mechanics are inept More
Ford diesel truck was using coolant on a trip from Texas. Major problem diagnosed and repaired- bad head gasket, plugged oil cooler. Kept me informed, mechanic (Charles) took time to show me the vehicles problems, and why it was a major repair. Everything is working correctly now. Even though it was a major job (cab had to be lifted off frame!) everything was put back together correctly. We are very pleased. We had never been to Elizabeth City or this dealership before.
