I have a 2003 Dodge Cummins Diesel truck that Is my pride and joy. On November 8th, 2011 I picked up some bad fuel at one of the local service stations and it did a number on my injectors. I had the truck towed to a local Virginia Beach Diesel mechanic for repair. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing. Well several weeks went by before a line was even removed from my engine which of course allowed the local station to clean out the bad fuel from their tanks so they said it wasn't their fault. So the mechanic put new injectors in my truck but left some of the bad fuel in and it screwed those injectors up and then he wanted me to pay for them again. Oh by the way, they ran into my pretty truck with another customer’s vehicle while it sat awaiting repair so now my fender is smashed in. My insurance company said enough is enough; we towed the vehicle out on Feb 6, 2012 to Hall Chrysler under the care and supervision of Joe Meyer (Assistant Service Manager). Wow, I have to say, it was a pleasure dealing with someone who treated me like a customer and when Joe said he would take care of me, he wasn't kidding. They even went so far as to check the cylinder walls for damage before they put any new parts on my truck because bad fuel can do a lot of damage. An estimate was created and Joe sent that to my insurance company. They approved the work and in one week, Joe called me and said my truck was running great. I about fell out of my chair when he told me that it was already put back together and running. He went over a few areas of concern on my truck that were not related to this particular repair and I ended up calling around to get prices on those recommended services. Called Joe back and his pricing was extremely competitive that I went with his team because they offer one year/12,000 mile warranty on their parts. I am so happy to report that when I picked my truck up it was washed and ready to go out front. When I went over the invoice with Joe, the mechanic was standing next to us and he addressed all my questions about the repairs. Joe walked me to my truck and we did a quick walk around and I departed. I still can't believe how well they took care of me and how great their service is and the price was remarkable. Joe Meyer and his team are number one in my book and I will be back for all my automotive needs! More

I will never come to this place again. Their service department.sucks. we bought a new van that they sold defective. They ordered the part and said they will call when comes in and never did. We bought our vehicle BRAND NEW and have always had problems -- one time they even wrecked our vehicle while it was in for service and then they couldn't find it. from month one we have had nothin problems -- one time they even wrecked our vehicle while it was in for service and then they couldn't find it. from month one we have had nothing but problems with this vehicle and the dealership has told us its not their problem -- they even put the wrong tires on one of our vehicles which could have ended in disaster. We were told that the tires could have exploded and caused a very big accident. Now the rack and pinion is a problem again -- they have already replaced it twice and now a 3rd time it has to be replaced -- we took the vehicle in there and of course they couldn't find anything wrong with it until AFTER the warranty was expired. if you want good customer service and to feel like you are a valued customer this is not the place to go BEWARE More

Had a scheduled time for service yesterday, February 21st, went in with two kids in tow to get the state inspection complete agreed to have the oil changed as well. Found out the vehicle needed to have a part replaced that had been recalled. Once the work was started it only took 1/2 hour to complete however, waited around for 3 hours just to get the work started!!!! Was told it was because they were busy as it was a holiday....then what is the point of having a scheduled appointment!! Ridiculous! This is not my first issue with these people. I keep giving them chances at redeeming themselves however they fail miserably! I bought my van at Hall so I wanted to have all service completed by them but from now on I don't care how far I have to travel I will not go back! More

I knew exactly what the problem was and had them look to see if it was covered, instead of telling me no, they took half the car apart to tell me no and to charge me. The single point of contact for dealing with service is horrible. I spent on average 10 mins on hold trying to find the one person who could answer my question. Then when I finally tracked down the person they always had to call me back. Also if you have all the parts on a Friday before 2pm why does it take you three days to replace the part. I'm never bringing my jeep here again. I should have known better when I called the service department to ask them what a 30,000 mile service included and they couldn't tell me. More
I brought my Jeep in for an oil change. Bob Glos is my service advisor. I asked him if they take coupons from Cherked Flag. He said Yes. 40 minutes later i was informed by another person that they do no service advisor. I asked him if they take coupons from Cherked Flag. He said Yes. 40 minutes later i was informed by another person that they do not take that coupon. Two managers came out and informed me that Hall can not take the coupon because it was not from a Jeep dealer. I always bring my Toyota as well as my Jeep to this Jeep dealer for service. I am very upset that I waisted my time and when I showed them the E Main from Hall / Mile one saying the Oil change would be 30 minutes or less or the next one is free they would not even look at the E mail from Hall/ Mile one. I have never had this problem at Hall Jeep before. More

I had to demand a second key. Then about a month later I realized that I was not getting good radio service because I did not have an antenna. I had no idea I was missing an antenna some cars have them and some cars have a little black stump so I had to fight for an antenna. Thee months ago I took the car in to get an oil change, I was there for 3 hours with my 3 month old baby who needed a diaper change. I walked into the bathroom and the changing table was lying on the floor, there is no counter space and it is completely unsanitary there is only a small sink and two small stalls. It was a cold rainy day and they told me to walk outside a block and a half up to new car sales and use there bathroom! In my opinion that was totally unexceptional, they should have said I am sorry, come use an area in the back we are getting someone to put it up. Three months later I come back for an oil change and to my surprise the changing table is still on the floor. I told the girls at the front that I really don’t want to complain but I was here 3 months ago and the changing table was not up and it is still on the floor. There response was I know and we have complained too! We choose Hall dodge on Virginia Beach Blvd because they claim to be a family orientated military friendly establishment and that is not the case. My husband is deployed and they made me wait for my car for 2 hours then I left with out my car. I reminded them that I had to get my son form school and the service representative kept saying I will give you an estimate on how long it will be in a min. have a seat and I will come and get you, HE NEVER DID!! I asked for a shuttle to take me home and explained that I would need a shuttle to pick me up so I can get my car when it was finished and he said the shuttle only runs until one. I asked if I could have a rental car and he said I would have to pay for it and I asked if someone could drive my car to my house when it was finished and he said NO! To make a long story short, I suggested that a shuttle home to get my son off the bus and tomorrow that they send a shuttle to pick me up in the morning, the over night fee I have yet to attack. The correct response when dropped off the car at 8 am would have been something along the lines of let me get you a shuttle home and when your car is ready we will send a shuttle to pick you up instead of the added nonsense that just aggravated a seemingly simple errand. . ~~I would pay extra for a service where someone to comes to pick up my car and then drops it back off when they were finished and it would create jobs. I really did not need the extra stress that was caused. HALL HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!! More
