Check engine light My 19 year old son brought his 2 year old Subaru Crosstrek in because his check engine light came on for the 2 nd time. The service guy told him if it My 19 year old son brought his 2 year old Subaru Crosstrek in because his check engine light came on for the 2 nd time. The service guy told him if it was driving ok it should be fine. It’s definitely not fine for an engine light to come on in a car with only 20,000 miles. I made an appt to have it checked. When I brought it in the service guy said since no lights were on at that time there was really not much they could do. He said if it made me feel better I could leave it. I received no calls all day about the status of the car. I called at 4 pm to check on it and a lady answered the call saying the service dept was busy and she could take a message and that the service dept closed at 5pm. I asked if there was a direct number for service and she said yes but she didn’t know it since she only worked part time. I called again and was able to talk to Nicole who was very helpful. She told me there was in fact something wrong with the car and that it would cost $270 to fix. I told her I would just come get it because my husband could fix it. I still had to pay for the $119 diagnostic fee so i went in to get it and pay for that. I was charged a small fee for disposal. They didn’t do any work on the car so I have no idea what they were disposing. After I paid Nicole came running from the back saying it was all covered under the warranty so they refunded my money. Not sure how that got confused. They did fix it the next day and like I said Nicole was great. I am very disappointed that they weren’t taking this seriously. This is my sons car that he drives back and forth to college so it needs to be safe. More

They made the offer appealing enough that we bought the car when we had definitely not anticipated buying it so soon! Pleasant wait In the summer, the air conditioning was overdone and the waiting areas were freezing!! In the winter, the temperature was comfortable. The quiet room where I sat to do work had 4 desks, but only 2 had outlets to charge devices. The waiting room had a TV, but it continues to show the same movie all day long (a CD). There is no live TV. Otherwise, the wait was pleasant. More
Oil Change on Subaru Impreza I had an appointment for a 1:00 oil change, got there about 12:50 and checked in. I thought the oil change would take about 30 minutes, around 12:45 I had an appointment for a 1:00 oil change, got there about 12:50 and checked in. I thought the oil change would take about 30 minutes, around 12:45 I went back to the service desk and the young lady informed me that they were running a little late and my car would be the next car in. Went back and sat a little longer, around 1:10 I looked out in the parking lot and my car had not moved!!! Needless to say I was NOT happy and went back to the service desk again, this time I spoke to Randall Warner who I believe was the manager in charge that day. Randall assured me that my car would be handled immediately which it was. Around 2:35 I was told my car was completed, Randall was very kind to give me a card for a free oil change. I was told by the young lady that appointments that day were overbooked, I'm sorry, but appointments should not be overbooked and I understand that a few people called in sick as well which did not help the matter any. The service department really needs to be careful with overbooking because you get a bunch of unhappy customers. Kim, the lady next to me was there a total of 4 hours which was just insane. If someone had called me earlier that day to let me know some mechanics had called in sick I would have been happy to reschedule my appointment. I received a text, two e-mail notes and a phone call to confirm my appointment and ended up sitting there almost two hours. Thank you for allowing me to express my frustration.
