Called for an appt and same service manager told me 3 weeks to get a rental so my car can be serviced with air bag recall. couldn’t believe it . I own 2 Subaru’s and looking for a third soon. I got nicole on the phone and she got me a quick appointment with a rental. She communicates well and I was ready to possibly need tires and she told me I absolutely do not! Bad service from last appt. excellent service this appt. Tried to call manager Paul x 4 with no return call. Came to see a Randy and he was too busy. No other dealership near me for convenience. May not be buying 3rd subaru. Keep in mind this service appointment was the best ever. Thx Nicole More

Mismatch of expectations 30,000 mile maintenance appointment. Routine maintenance appointments up to this point all handled by Haldeman Subaru Service. Up to this point, my 30,000 mile maintenance appointment. Routine maintenance appointments up to this point all handled by Haldeman Subaru Service. Up to this point, my point of service provider has been knowledgeable about my vehicle, the maintenance needed and able to explain the post-service reports to me. This time, a well-intended but uninformed person (apparently brand-new and without resources for him to draw upon) service person was my interface. Frustrating on the phone in setting up my appointment: Ifhe doesn’t know, he needs to own it and either make it a priority to find out or escalate to someone who can answer my questions. For example, my vehicle has 30,000 miles, what do I need to do? Frustrating in person when he seemed to think that his sole responsibility was to collect my key and signature, then after maintenance work was done, hand me the report and walk me to the clerk's window to pay. He was not able to explain the paperwork and was not entirely happy that I advocated for myself and put myself in another service person's line to have the report work explained and questions answered before I paid for the service. And no courtesy car wash, as had been customary in previous service appointments. Also, trip meter was reset and had 2.4 miles on it. Where did my car go? More
