Both times they have you wait in line to check out, only to find out no coupon applied, they send you back to service to wait in line there again to have it adjusted, only to then have to go back and wait again to check out. Frustrating and poor customer service, took 30 minutes to get out, should have taken 5-7. More

Waste of time My battery died while under Subaru 85-month replacement warranty. So I came to Haldeman to get a replacement. First I was told that there was warranty My battery died while under Subaru 85-month replacement warranty. So I came to Haldeman to get a replacement. First I was told that there was warranty, so I had to explain it to them. Then it took half an hour to figure out what the prorated percentage was. Finally I was told that I have to wait for another hour to get it tested and replaced, and I have to pay for labor. After another 30 minutes nobody had touched my car. So I took my keys from them and went to another dealership. Paid the prorated price, swapped the battery myself and I was on my way in 10 minutes. I would never go to Haldeman Subaru ever again. Such a waste of time! Previously I had a very bad experience with timing belt replacement service at that place. Never again! More

Over the past 25 years, I have been mostly dealing with Audi’s and their likes, so I came in expecting “yet another rip off 700-something service with vague explanations, emphatic calls to “best practices” and wide range sales efforts to charge me even more, plus a wasted day”. What I experienced was Anything but that. Service was easy to schedule, friendly, precisely clear about options and exact measurements taken, without attempts to sell me additional fixes and improvements, took an hour and extra work (which I knew about) was rescheduled into another slot. So I was back in my day and back to the desk in the total of 2 hours and under half of what I was expecting to pay. And if it keeps being this way, I guess my own next car will likely be a Subaru... More

Nice and smooth once you're there Initial service on our Forester, just an oil change and simple warranty work. They washed the vehicle! I don't get that from my Jeep dealer.... 4 stars because rescheduling online is a pain. There's no clear way to REschedule an appointment. The initial schedule of appointments is easy but if you have to reschedule just call the dealership. I have a feeling that would be much more efficient. I got reminders from both the Ford side and the Subaru side which was amusing but they really do try and make sure you don't forget! More
