I callled the dealer for pricing on an impreza. He told me they were having a special of $2000.00 off the list price and zero per cent financing. When we arrived at Haddad, we were told the price was wro me they were having a special of $2000.00 off the list price and zero per cent financing. When we arrived at Haddad, we were told the price was wrong as was the interest rate. They agreed to sell us the car at the quoted price but would not give us the special interest rate. Then they offered us a super low price on my trade-in. I told them that at that price I would keep my old car as a spare. They refused to sell me the car unless I traded in my old car because they needed the additional profit from the trade to make up for the "low" price on the new car. We felt so bullied that we eventually agreed to the transaction. We were then sent to the finance guy. He tried to sell us an extended warranty which would have increased the $470 per monthh payment to $800. We declined any extras and were finally given the cost of financing the car. The next day,Sunday, the salesmanager and salesman called me up to ask me if I was going to rate them all tens on the Subaru Customer Service form. When I told him No! that we were unhappy with the way we were treated, he said then he would not sell us the car. Beware of transactions with Haddad. More
First time buying a Subaru and dealing with Haddad. They gave us a great price on a 2012 Subaru Forester and a very fair price for our trade-in. Our sales person, Jesse was friendly, knowledgeable, and pro gave us a great price on a 2012 Subaru Forester and a very fair price for our trade-in. Our sales person, Jesse was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional - no high pressure tactics here! The sales manager Bill gave us a very good deal overall and Chris obtained an awesome financing rate for us and handled all the paperwork in a timely manner. We will, without hesitation recommend Haddad to others and we look forward to driving our Subaru Forester. More

After one email and two voice mails, no one saw fit to call me. Too bad, too. I had decided on the car (2012 Impreza), had no preference for color, was willing to buy it sight-unseen without a test drive, call me. Too bad, too. I sent an email to another dealer who called me in less than two hours. Guess who got my business? If Haddad is that cavalier about sales, I can only imagine what their service department is like. I will also have my new car serviced elsewhere. I believe in supporting local businesses, and do so whenever possible, but not at the expense of service. Pittsfield in general seems to be plagued with an apathetic attitude toward service of all kinds. Something in the water, perhaps. More

It felt as though they put it out there like they were the only Subaru dealership in the world and I had to take it or leave it. As if they didn't need the business. The next dealership I went to I ended up buying a new 2012 Subaru (the same car). I could've easily done the same at Haddads but I did not feel they earned/cared about my business. After discussing this account with others, I have heard similar stories. More
It is no wonder people local to Pittsfield go to other dealerships.. Haddad treats a service visit as a "one time opportunity" to rip you off. Little do they realize that for each customer they do this to they lose that customer, and that customer lets other people know how bad they were treated. They will out of business soon with the reputation they have. I'm not going into the details, but I refuse to enter that dealership again even though I work less than a mile from it! More
Mary was great! She helped us get just what we needed at a fair price. I would, however, like to have seen much more professionalism and overall friendliness from the sales staff. As I waited for my oil change to be completed, I was subject to inappropriate conversations, plenty of cursing, and when I actually had questions about our next Subaru car- not very much help. I got the feeling I was inconveniencing the sales staff by waiting in their waiting room and especially by asking car sales related questions. A shame, as I am looking for the next Subaru dealership in western Mass to purchase our next car from. Looks like we'll avoid Haddad for sales, but stick with them for services. Again, Mary has been wonderful. More
