Communication was poor when I made my appointment. I drove an hour thinking I’d have to wait 2-3 hours but instead had to leave my car overnight. Wish I was warned before. The agent Vanessa was helpful and efficient She asked if I needed a ride because the service was lengthy. The arranged ride home was good. The service center in Bakersfield is ridiculous, the employees do not know what they are doing, and are extremely rude. They put all over paperwork you denied things but they never call you about them. employees do not know what they are doing, and are extremely rude. My vehicle sat there for 45 days and I only got four phone calls total and none or those calls entailed any details on the paperwork they gave me. Most of the conclave were over the safety recalls that needed to be done, and also one of me trying to follow up as to when my vehicle would be done. When I went to pick it up they said they cannot change the paperwork and got no answers! THEN to top it off they drained my battery I had less than a year, didn’t even offer to jump start it for me! They told me I would need to have someone come to do that for me if I wanted to drive it home. Then told me well you can pay us for a new battery! Like I am going to do that. I feel they should have replaced it no charge. My battery was perfectly fine when I originally took my vehicle in. I wouldn’t have been able to drive it anyways because my suv is completely out of gas! They used all my gas and didn’t refill it having it for 45 days. When my husband charged the battery at home he went to try and drive it down the street but the gas light was on and it just died after a minute. My vehicle had almost a full tank of gas when it was dropped off. I ended u having to pay for a tow to tow my suv back home. My vehicle is dirty inside and outside as well. Then on top of it I was told my engine is failing related to the recall issue with the engines in my vehicle BUT due to Kia guidelines the engine cannot be replaced until it actually seizes????? Then there’s the fire risk, my OCS Mat is defective and it was supposed to be replaced under a recall last month but it’s been on back order for this long? My suv won’t even pass smog right now so I cannot drive it. I am paying on a piece of xxxx vehicle that they manufactured with a piece of xxxx engine. All I do is drive it around town. I have two kids and God forbid something happen to one of us because or the SUV and it’s issues. More
