I went one time for an oil change and waited over 6 hours. Another time went for an oil change again and they failed to mention that I need both a new cabin air filter and engine filter, and just didn’ hours. This is my second time dealing with Haddad’s service department (different cars), and based on both visits, I wouldn’t recommend their service depar This is my second time dealing with Haddad’s service department (different cars), and based on both visits, I wouldn’t recommend their service department. The people aren’t friendly, personable or welcoming. The most recent visit was for a recall. [Note: I did speak with a manager after the 1st visit. She apologized for lengthy delays, poor service, etc, and explained they were working on making necessary improvements for a better experience. Since that was several months ago, I decided to give them another chance.]. I was still hesitant but made the appointment (11am, ready by 5pm). Again, no friendly greetings or warm welcomes. (Im not asking for fireworks, but I did buy one of your cars, and I’m back because of a recall. The least you could do is be friendly for the inconvenience of my time). They arranged for a Lyft to take me home (he was the nicest part of this experience…gave him 5 stars). I signed up for text updates (that’s a nice improvement) so I could follow the status of my car. I checked the link a couple of times, it showed my car was checked in, but it didn’t update to ‘in service’, but maybe a delay updating their system/link. But still no change by 4:45, so I called to share my concern. Was put on hold for several minutes, then told my car would be ready in about 5 min, and they arranged another Lyft to pick me up (I didn’t even rate this driver. He finally got me to the right place. Maybe he’s new). I finally picked up my car, again no customer service skills were evident. As far as technology has come, this could have been a ‘self service’ checkin/pickup. The employees added nothing to this experience, they actually detracted from it. I wouldn’t recommend the Haddad service department. We will be going to Clovis or Santa Clarita. We actually dealt with Clovis (Future Kia of Clovis) before (when we had to track down our own part for Haddad Kia the first time we dealt with Haddad’s service). Future Kia provided exceptional customer service; their employees were personable & professional. So I finally have my car & all should be well, right? We’re now driving to pickup our other car getting serviced elsewhere, when I notice my hood is jiggling up/down. Mind you, we’re going abt 55, during rush hour, on a street with few turnouts. We had to cautiously reduce speed, change lanes, & turn on emergency flashers till we found a turnout. You guessed it- hood not closed. Haddad Kia (service dept only) gets ZERO stars!!! Ok, enough with my rant & disappointment. I have my car and We made it safely through this adventure. More
Dulce was the worst rep I have dealt with there. She has the most awful communication, I could never get a straight answer from her. I told her at 3 separate occasions that I had a warranty and she forgot to call them, then took an additional week to call them. She would not answer or return my calls. Then had the Berber to ask me if my car was even there?! It had been sitting there for over 2 weeks!! This was the worst experience I have had and she is truly awful at her job. All I asked for was a phone call to give me an update of what was goi h on. And she couldn’t even do that. I specifically stated that I wanted to be called before ANY service was done in my car so I could get the info for the warranty. She had them proceed with the maintenance without my consultation. Then told me that the recall was not completed even though a week and a half prior she assured me that this was already completed. I am counting down the days to where I don’t have to deal with this lemon of a car and awful dealer ever again. More
