Update: Obviously, what I stated below is not a good standard, however I did contact Kia and their response is as follows: They are actively repairing the vehicle. They loaned me a courtesy car for me t standard, however I did contact Kia and their response is as follows: They are actively repairing the vehicle. They loaned me a courtesy car for me to use and were extremely helpful. Kia service was a problem, but the recovery was excellent. I particularly want to thank Miguel and his service manager for their quick response and action. I will update all when my car is finished. The car was dropped off in November. It took two weeks to assess the problem and the diagnosis was wrong. I was told they only needed to top off the coolant. I had to explain that the problem was deeper than that. They then said it needed a new engine--$5400.00. They replaced the engine and completed the work a month later. It now is overheating again--the same and original problem. I'm stranded as I type this response. I've been without a car for two months. I am frustrated. I am always patient with the service folks, but now want a resolution immediately. At the very least, i need a loaner vehicle while my car is being repaired. More
Customer service was amazing this time. This is the first good experience in the service department.
