Problem with faulty tire air gauge reading. Solution offered at a cost was to use nitrogen gas in the tire. I understand air pressure will change with climate change and running time, but a properly des offered at a cost was to use nitrogen gas in the tire. I understand air pressure will change with climate change and running time, but a properly designed system should not have this problem. Either the presure measuring device needs to be redesigned or BMW should use nitrogen gas to inflate the tires, and definately not charge the customer for their inability to provide a properly functuning product. I will be writing a letter to BMW corporate sating my displeasure with their idea of providing a quality worry free product. More

This was my first service appointment with Habberstad BMW of Bay Shore and am glad to report it was a very pleasant experience. My Service Advisor, Felipe Papano was professiional, patient and most of all a of Bay Shore and am glad to report it was a very pleasant experience. My Service Advisor, Felipe Papano was professiional, patient and most of all attentive. He listened very carefully to my concerns and addressed each problem acccordingly. I was able to get an appointment and a loaner car on the day that was convenient to me. Most importantly the service department was diagnosis and repair a warranty item that was overlooked at another dealership. I would gladly recommend them to my friends. More

I love the people and the service however, the loner I had this time was from enterprise rental and they charged my credit card $100.00 without ever mentioning it to me, the money should be back in my acc had this time was from enterprise rental and they charged my credit card $100.00 without ever mentioning it to me, the money should be back in my account 24 hours after I returned the car and it has been 4 days and the money are not returned yet. If they are not planning to refund within 24 hours they shouldn’t give out wrong information. And just thought I should mention that the "NEW" system with the person outside in the booth and the little cones is not very improving. It use to take not more than 20 minutes to get my car in to the service and leave, now it takes about 50-60 minutes. And besides, I think before was more personal. I liked it a lot better before. I hope I was helpfull. :) More
I had requested that my service advisor call me prior to my appointment to confirm that the parts for my service were in stock. I did not get the call, and the parts were not in stock. As it turned out this was not as big a deal as I expected as I decided to get additional work done that required parts be ordered, and the advisor needed to look at my car to give me two choices of parts for one of the jobs. A portion of the work I wanted was able to be performed, and I left very satisfied. More

My BMW is about a month old - and we took it on a trip to S.Carolina - it performed perfectly but as we were traveling home we got an error message that the pressure in the right front tire was low. It kind of scared us, and I looked in the owner manual, followed the instructions (drive at 50 miles per hour - till the tires reset) and re-set the tires - Of course I had no idea what I was doing, or why it worked, but the car and the tire seemed fine and we got home with no further problems. Still, I was concerned and called the dealer the next day and talked to Mary - who said it was probably fine, but I could bring the car in the next day and they would check it out. When I brought the car in everyone was so nice, and helpful! Mary did a great job of explaining the tire sensitivity and recommending they fill the tires with Nitrogen to avoid the problem going forward. I am much more comfortable now, everyone was wonderful, especially Mary who I find to be an exceptional Service Manager. To top the great experience off, my car came back from the Service group cleaned!! I am so pleased with my car - and appreciate the level of service and respect customers receive! More
