As always the quality of service I received during my annual service visit to BMW of Bayshore was impeccable. Everyone is always so accomodating, professional and friendly. I like the fact that I work with the same Service Consultant every time I bring my car in for service. Chris Conigliaro is always a pleasure to work with. He goes out of his way to be sure my experience at BMW is more than satisfactory. He follows through with any requests that I have and answers all of my questions. The entire staff at BMW of Bayshore is truly wonderful and should be recognized for making the entire service experience a pleasure. Thank you to all! More
I had a terrible experience at this dealership. I paid $2500 last August to have my car fixed and serviced from bumper to bumper. The car was never right. I was charged for a lot of things that I found out later were never done. I should have brought it back right away but then Sandy hit. Last week my car got stuck on sunrise hwy. and I had to have it towed home. I brought it back to Haberstadt BMW in bayshore in the hopes that they would honor their work and fix the car. It is supposed to have a two year warranty. I was told by Chris in service when I got their that I didn't have an appointment and it would cost $150 just to look at the car. (I did have an appointment). After trying to discuss my issues with Chris I got nowhere fast and drove the car home. I called the service manager Jeff and he agreed to look at the car without the $150 charge. I bring the car all the way back and wait a day for them to look at it and of course the problem, as explained to me by Kenny, is nothing that they originally fixed and it was probably because during Hurricane Sandy I got bad gas because all the gas stations were getting bad gas. Hmm. I said, Well my other cars didn't seem to get any bad gas.". Just got more of the same double talk. I asked him not to insult my intelligence. At this point I called the manager of the dealership . . . Still waiting for a call back. In short I got ripped off! They charged me for work that was never done and they are extremely unprofessional. Don't go there! More

Recently I went to BayShore service twice within a month and both of my experiences there have been awful. The first time I went there to pick up my car in the late afternoon after having to leave my car there for two days because a part needed to be ordered for the radio. Upon receiving a call that my car was ready in the morning, I proceeded to pick it up about 2:30pm. I had to wait over an hour for my car because they didn't know where it was for over 30 minutes and then when they finally found it they hadn't washed it. It was a pour experience but I let it go as just one of those things that happen occasionally. Then this past week, I had to return again to service for a filter and oil change. I dropped my car off the night before and received a call the next morning at about 10am from my service person. The service person told me they were working on my car and then went into all these preventive services I should pursue. I told him I wasn't interested and that I just wanted an oil change and asked him if it would be ok to pick up my car by 6:30pm that evening as I work in Manhattan and that would be my time of arrival. He said sure because they're open until 7pm. I got there by about 6:00pm and waited abut 40 minutes as the service people scrambled to again find my car. No one knew where it was. I was also asked by one guy, if it was a truck that I was picking up? The guy told me that they didn't think I was coming for my car so they parked it away for the night. I found myself to be again disappointed and frustrated with the results of my service. Not only that but when they finally brought my car out I saw that my car looked dirty so I commented that it hadn't been washed either, and the guy said yes it was, it was washed in the rain. There was tree flowers stuck all over the car. In conclusion to my second experience at Bay Shore Habberstad BMW I found them all to be a bunch of clowns that seemed that their procedures and professionalism just doesn't exist. It was like dealing with Dumb and Dumber. And just so you know, I am a very patient person and also can accept mishaps happening once in a while, but this service was unbelievably bad. I'll never go there again. And by the way, even though I mentioned Kenneth, there were at least 3 other people involved scrambling around looking for my car, but I don't know what there names were. More
It appears that things have changed at the service department. There were several new advisors and all treated me in a friendly and professional manner. My 2013 X3 was due for service and I had scheduled an appointment with Habberstad since this is also the location I purchased my car last year. I was very disappointed with the quality of service for num appointment with Habberstad since this is also the location I purchased my car last year. I was very disappointed with the quality of service for numerous reasons. First, when I called in to make an appointment I had asked if I can get a loaner and the rep I spoke to say yes only to find out when I brought in my car for drop off, I was not receiving a BMW loaner. Instead, I was given a Hertz rental. This is quite misleading as I was not told I needed to specifically request for a BMW loaner nor did I expect to have to do so. My previous car was another luxury make and I was always given the same make as my own vehicle. As if this was not bad enough, I had to wait in the service area for well over an hour for the Hertz rental and this was only because I followed up with the front desk more than once. I made an 11AM appointment so the dealership knew I was coming and should have been expecting me or else, there's really no reason for me to make an appointment and drive all the way in from Brooklyn. Once, I picked up my car I was even more dissatified with my overall experience. When I went into my car, I noticed the on board device cover was left on the floor, as well as, the old inspection sticker still on the windshield when I had paid for them to do the NYS inspection and was charged for on the invoice. The next day I called the service department to give them my feedback and was told I would get a follow up call, which has not happened. I followed up with another call to ask about the hold on my credit card for the rental, left a message but never received a follow up call. This experience definitely does not give me any incentive to bring my car back for future servicing or purchases here. More
Although the service required more than 2 hours of work, I was going to wait. The service rep insisted that I take a rental car, and after several refusals, I accepted the offer. I waited nearly 45 minutes for a rental car representative to assist me, even though she was sitting at a desk making follow-up calls to people who already had cars. She also took a break to do some text messaging, while I sat in wait. At this point, I no longer needed a rental car as I had already waited 1 hour, and the work was nearly complete. I asked to speak with the service manager, Juan Martinez, and was told by the secretary that he was in a meeting all day. Low and behold, Juan Martinez appeared about 15 minutes later, which indicated that the secretary had lied to me. I spoke with Juan, and although, he assured me that this situation would be remedied in future visits, this BMW Service Center has always had issues. More
I needed to bring my 328xi in for some scheduled maintenance along with one or two other things that needed attention. Chris did a great job of telling me exactly what was going to be done and how l maintenance along with one or two other things that needed attention. Chris did a great job of telling me exactly what was going to be done and how long it would take. They also took care of a recall while my car was in for maintenance which saved me a trip down the road. Needless to say, everything was repaired without a hitch. I highly recommend Chris as a service advisor, as he always keeps me up to date on what is being done to my vehicle and is always a pleasure to deal with. The work is always high quality and everything is explained to me in detail when my BMW is returned. I highly recommend Habberstad BMW of Bay shore due to the excellent customer service and attention to detail. More
Overall I had a wonderful experience. Chris was great and very friendly. The girls up front were wonderful, sorry I didn't get their names. The only problems were minor. 1) It took 2 days to do a covered repair (recall) and an inspection. In my opinion, it should have been 1 day. Allthough I did have a rental, so it was not that inconvienient. 2) There were 3 areas that had either plastic caps or rubber edge protectors that were left off. I put them on myself. I think the mechanics should have done that, they could have been lost while driving. Also there was 1 spot of greasy fingerprints on the drivers side door. Again, I took care of it, but that should not happen. Like I said, overall this was pleasent, but some small details would have made a big differance. I will be coming back, I liked the people there very much and that's important. Thank you Chester More
