I needed to have the passenger mirror repaired. I went to the service department to order the part. I was told it will be in on Wednesday and they will call me and schedule the appt. to have it replaced. to the service department to order the part. The parts guy is on the phone, looks at me and turns away. No indication that I exist, or he will be with me after the call. The call eventually ends. I give him the paperwork, and 15 minutes later he returns with the part. I ask about the appt. He says, "I don't do that, go see the service advisor". I find a guy at the service desk. He says "I don't do that, go see the girl at the front desk". I head inside, wait on line. My turn comes and I say I need to schedule an appt. for my car. Without saying a word, she dials a number. After a couple of rings, she hands me the phone. The woman on the phone says hey do you want to take advantage of our shuttle or courtesy car service? I ask can we pick a date first. That will determine which support I will need. We pick the following Saturday, 8:00am she says thank you and hangs up. No shuttle or car questions. The following Saturday at 8:00 I drop my car off. The advisor, who was really pretty good, says it may not be ready today, and recommends I get a courtsey car. He brings me to the Hertz desk. I wait 20 - 25 minutes, and finally the rep shows up. She says you are getting a Chevy Cruze. I ask are there any other options. She says it is the only car that is clean, but if I want a dirty car.....she has others to chose from. I took the car and left. My car was ready in a couple of hours. It had been cleaned and was ready to go. When you compare this service to that of Mercedes of Massapequa, this place is completely lost. High end cars, with low end service. For what you pay, you should receive better service. If someone says they are going to do something like call, they should do it. More

We are returning BMW customers who leased a BMW. We decided to continue leasing with BMW Bay Shore because of the great service and sales staff there. I got a price for a new car from Melissa. I brought my trade in for appraisal and saw Carlos. Got the trade in value and was told by Carlos that the selling price of the new car would be $1000 less than trade in for appraisal and saw Carlos. Got the trade in value and was told by Carlos that the selling price of the new car would be $1000 less than Melissa quoted me. I did nothing wrong but waste my time visiting the dealer. I don't understand how a dealer stays in business doing tactics like this. I guess the general public is ok dealing with this type of business. I can't support it or recommend them. More

When it came time to retire my wife’s 740iL, I wasn’t sure if I was going to stick with a BMW replacement. As a Sayville resident, trips to the North Shore for BMW servicing had lost its appeal. Fortunat sure if I was going to stick with a BMW replacement. As a Sayville resident, trips to the North Shore for BMW servicing had lost its appeal. Fortunately, Haberstad’s additional Bay Shore location provided the convenience I sought. Arriving at opening time on a Sunday, my wife and I were introduced to Greg Cola who, after determining our replacement priorities, directed us to the perfect vehicle for our needs. Within a few days, the vehicle was ready for delivery and Greg was there to coordinate the last minute paperwork and spend time familiarizing us with its operation. All in all, a positive experience with each member of the BMW Bay Shore staff involved in this sale. More
I purchased a pre-owned car there on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Without going into too much detail, I found the folks there to be professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. From the initial email and text to John Cuozzo to the sales representative Vidal Asoon, to the person who handled the financing, to the woman at reception, I felt at ease, and comfortable. I started working with them via text and email as I responded to one of their ads (on Friday). John responded back immediately with answers to my questions, and we negotiated the price and terms of all (the new vehicle and trade in) within 30 minutes. I went in the next day and they were ready for me, no waiting, and I was assigned to Vidal, who had all in order and was ready for the test drive, answers to the 100 questions I had, etc. The prices that were negotiated were the ones we closed with. They stuck by their statements, promptly had the car ready, cleaned, oiled and greased, and all transferred and did everything, including a few minor requests I made, and I drove home with my car same day. Even the financing portion was painless. They made the transfer easy, the experience pleasant and I was just pleased. I was looking at other dealerships before, and they attempted to sell me something I didn't want. I have also purchased from other dealerships in past 10 years and can say that I often felt like I was being 'sold' something or even brokered, and often left feeling bit unhappy by the experience.
