Brought vehicle in on Friday morning for a scheduled detailing. Added front end alignment and tire rotation recommended by advisor. Promised they would call when vehicle done. No call! I called late in detailing. Added front end alignment and tire rotation recommended by advisor. Promised they would call when vehicle done. No call! I called late in day to inquire and only got voice mails. Left message to call back. No call! Called Saturday morning to inquire about vehicle. Voice mails again! Did receive a call back from a person named John who said he was in the service department who asked what I was calling about despite describing it in the voice mail. I explained to him I was trying to get a status on my car and that no one answers the phone and now he is asking why I was calling. I said “are you kidding me?” And he said my attitude would not solve the problem. Really? He said my advisor was off for the weekend and he would have someone call me back. No call! I waited a few hours and called again and this time got through to “Matt” who was very apologetic and assured me he would have someone call me back. No call! On Monday morning at 7am my initial service advisor called to apologize. He said he thought he left a text saying the car would be ready Saturday but it did not go through. Car was now ready 3 days after I dropped it off. The advisor made a mistake, took responsibility and apologized. It happens but an entire service department can not function in his absence. I am sure when all goes well the service team is excellent but someone needs to re evaluate when it doesn’t. There is also no excuse for the behavior and comments from John whoever he is! More
