Financing screw up disaster The salesman, Jose, was great. He spent a lot of time with us, we were buying TWO cars. Then comes the financing. Sadel Saez is the finance person, The salesman, Jose, was great. He spent a lot of time with us, we were buying TWO cars. Then comes the financing. Sadel Saez is the finance person, it takes forever, and then he's selling us the extended warranty. He lied to me, he told me for both cars it was 'bumper to bumper coverage. One car was newer than the other, hence longer and cheaper. We bit, took the warranty's and finished. TWO WEEKS LATER he calls me, oh we have a problem with the length of the warranty. Oh? I'd already received the cards from Vehicle One. So he has some problem and trying to put if off on me to come right away, sign again and fix for him. Found much better deals on my own to finance so I call Sadel and say, give me the pay off figure and cancel the warranty. We agree I'll go this afternoon with a check. He told me he'd not be there and who to ask for. Well, that person is busy, and they want me to wait. I'm there to help fix their screw up and there was not consideration for my time. Said I was leaving in 15 minutes....find someone or we do this later. They found someone. THEN, I get to the cashier, and they don't want to accept the check. I TOLD THE GUY I WAS BRINGING A CHECK! My insurance company, State Farm, made me a much better deal for financing, so they wrote me a check to give...and H Greg wanted to argue about it. I'd given them the check, I had some sort of paper I'd signed, so I left. THEN someone comes running after me asking about an issue with one of my trade in's....THREE WEEKS LATER. What's wrong with these people? The car's ok, the deal was eh....on top of the car price they add $899 and $299 fixed costs, and an $89 "private tag agency fee" to transfer your tag...so add $1100+ to the cost of any car before taxes. Don't trust the financing....better deals are to be had. Especially if you have good credit. Be VERY LEARY of the Extended Warranty. If your car does not qualify for the 'Premium' package...forget it. The 'Basic' is a rip off. More
