Don't believe what they tell you Found a vehicle that I liked on their website. Seemed like a good price and used the "value you trade" link from the website. Being from a different town on the other side of the state I called to make sure they still had the vehicle that I was interested in and they did. We talked some more about both the one I wanted to purchase, I was assured that it was in excellent shape that Hgreg did not sell vehicles with problems. And my trade where I was assured that I would be offered at least kbb value. I drove over 225 miles one way to see the truck a 2014 F150. While looking at the truck the sales guy informed me that the truck was from Canada. Being from snowy salty roads I checked the frame for rust and sure enough there was lots of it. The truck was otherwise in good shape, but I certainly wish that the rust has been disclosed before I drove across the state to see it for myself. Still interested if the deal was right, I drove the truck while my car was being "appraised". Upon return as we are waiting for the appraisal, I looked at the website to see what other trucks they have and discovered that every single one of them were imported from Canada. I went on the lit and was very easily able to see that every truck on the lot had rusted frames! You Check the full carfax on HGreg website especially if you are looking at trucks I recommend you do it you will see they are all from Canada, have had instrument clusters /odometer switched so that everything is imperial and not metric, and every single one is rusted... Finally the "buyer" came back and offered me 4k for my car... I Wasted an entire day being lied to and mislead. The vehicles appear to be attractively priced, but wait until they hit you with $899 dealer fee. Offer you about 60% of what your trade is worth, have you drive across the entire state before disclosing defects /problems with the vehicle... After all that I didn't even get the darn $25 gift card that they promise if you take a test drive. More
