He was very professional This dealership was not on my list to visit, however I had filled out something online and was contacted by Mr. Nathan Bell. He was very professional and his only wish was to help with my request. I called Mr. Bell and could only visit on a certain day, this happened to be his day off and he asked what time was convenient and made it a point to be there. He was not pushy and just wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered. When we finally made the deal he could not have been more helpful. I would truly recommend this salesman as he made the experience enjoyable, Two issues I had with this dealership were out of Mr. Bell hands One was the sales manager who was very pushy and did not seem to trust my word. Had it not been for Mr. Bell I would have probably not closed the deal. Second was the extreme wait to complete the paper work. I thought that this day seemed especially slow but took over two hours to complete the deal. Once I reached the finance office, they tried to sell all of the add ons, I really thought that they tried to help me make all of the right decisions, and even helped with an extended warranty package. The fact that Mr. Bell was such a true professional and his follow through was the best I have seen I do recommend this dealership. Knowing that there is always rough spots in a negotiation process it was helpful with Mr. Bell in the picture. More

My brother-in-law and I arrived at the dealership and Brandon Calvin greeted us both and made us comfortable and welcome. He was very knowledgeable about the Murano. I loved the customer service that was delivered. I was really impressed and I will go back there again. I was glad I went to Gwinnett Nissan. It was money well spent. More

Calvin McGinnis Blows a Sure Sale During the last week of April 2014 I called Gwinnett Place Nissan to arrange for someone to look at my daughters car for trade in and purchase of a ne During the last week of April 2014 I called Gwinnett Place Nissan to arrange for someone to look at my daughters car for trade in and purchase of a new 2014 Altima. I spoke with Omar Talford who said he would have the used car appraiser there and ready when she arrived within the hour and would also return an email with questions I sent him to determine the dealerships best offer on a new Altima. When she arrived she was quickly diverted by Calvin McGinnis to attempt to make a high pressure sales pitch. My daughter called me and notified me that she was not able to speak with Omar Talford and the appraisal had not begun so I asked her to kindly tell them she was only there to get the appraisal to compare to other dealers before making the new Altima purchase. Calvin McGinnis became loud and disruptive after being asked to refer to Omar Talford (who appeared to have printed out my email with questions and left it with Calvin McGinnis ( I could hear Calvin McGinnis in the background on the call), he became irate and said "I'm not going to play that game" (referring to answering the questions regarding MSRP, Invoice and below invoice sales price bid in my email that I required from all dealers before making the purchase) and abruptly left the room. I called and emailed the dealership the next day and several days after to get an apology from Calvin McGinnis and have him call my daughter, but it never came. On April 30th, 2014 my daughter purchased her new 2014 Nissan Altima from Nalley Nissan who provided the best price (22.34% below MSRP with $1,000 NMAC cash, $1,000 Nissan cash and $600 Nissan College Grad Program with 90 day deferred payment in addition to the discount from the dealership) and kindest customer service of the 8 Nissan dealerships that we worked with. The broken system of new car buying in the United States isn't changing no matter what most dealerships say and Gwinnett Place Nissan has the mentality that they won't negotiate with intelligent buyers who have done their research and are not going to pay MSRP or accept high pressure sales tactics. Choose wisely and be aware that many dealerships will hire companies to place positive ratings online to keep their ratings artificially high so read each review carefully. I am not affiliated with Nalley Nissan and don't live in the Atlanta area and have no bias or partiality to any dealership. Hopefully the current model of franchised car sales will be converted to direct sales from manufacturers in the near future with set prices like any other retail business. More
Great Experience I had been looking for a very particular Jeep Grand Cherokee for several months. Through autotrader.com, I saw the perfect vehicle at Gwinnett Place N I had been looking for a very particular Jeep Grand Cherokee for several months. Through autotrader.com, I saw the perfect vehicle at Gwinnett Place Nissan. No selling was involved since I already knew what I wanted. All that was left was the dreaded negotiation for the allowance on my trade and the purchase price of the Jeep. Over the phone it was set up that I'd be working with Charlan. Shortly after arrival Saturday at the dealership, Charlan greeted me and asked me to wait a short while as he was with a customer. He wound up handing me off to Nathan Bell which was actually a good thing as Nathan was very knowledgeable about Jeeps. We couldn't hammer out a deal so his manager got involved. Eventually, we agreed on numbers after the manager checked *his* manager. I feel I got a very good deal on the Jeep but not so much on my trade. That's why I knocked off a point for Price. I'll be afraid to look at what they'll be listing my trade for! Nathan was friendly, patient, and very helpful. He gave up part of his Sunday to make sure I was completely satisfied rather than have Charlan finalize things. Charlan did get involved in getting the Jeep to Service for a final cleaning of some minor smudges and removal of various decals. Both were on hand as I pulled away in my new Jeep. Overall, a great experience and GPN gets a recommendation as well as either Charlan or Nathan. Regards, MRD More

The first time was because my intake assembly had not been put back together, it was missing parts.I took it back and the section was found and put together. I went to my my mechanic to have amy catalytic convertor replace he told me my valve covers are leaking,I took it back a second time. when I took it back it was held for 1 day, I never received all call to return or anything, I popped up to see what was going on. I see Kerry from the parking lot, he leave when he seen me not sure why, I waited for a few then he came back. He told me now that the problem was coming from some where else and that I needed to pay an aditianal 2600 to fix my problem. The job was not done right, now I have oil leaks on my drive way that I never had. I know my vehicle and I know I didn't have this major problem when I took it in. I took my car in to fix my license plate light and then I came out paying a 1700 bill for something I was told that was needed because it was really bad. I was assured by Kerry that this repair will fix my issue. Now I have a bigger issue. I went back the third time and I just got the run around and was told now its a new problem and nothing can be done. I am a technician., when you diagnose a issue you figure out what's wrong with what ever your working with and then advise, you dont find other stuff to blame when the client comes back. This is a $1700 lesson that I dont think no one should go through. I was told this will fix what ever leak I had coming from the engine and now I see a leak something that I didn't see before. In the last year that I have had my car I haven't had to add every week oil to keep it from drying out. I will never recommended anyone or take my car to your location. I wish I wasn't going through this issue, I really should had said no when I was presented with the service issue. I was told by one of your service guys that they trust their certified tech before my mechanic. now on my end the certified tech didn't put a simple intake system back together. The funny part about of everything is Kerry offered me a 10% discount if I do the $2600 job. I am complaining about the first job and he comes to me with this. you should have him on the sales floor. I am not a happy customer, I went in for service and came out with a head ache. More
