I was impressed with the courtesy and service my this dealership--until I actually went there and tried to take them up on it. I called to see the price if any on a replacement visor that started han dealership--until I actually went there and tried to take them up on it. I called to see the price if any on a replacement visor that started hanging in my 2007 Civic. There was a service bulletin out on this by Honda (08-023) noting the defect. When I called, they asked for the VIN which I provided. I was told that it was covered, and asked to make an appointment, which I did. When I arrived at my appointment I was told that it was NOT under warranty, and they refused to honor what I was told on the phone to get me there. I was sent to the parts department to buy one, then they would install. Internet price upper $40's, Gwinnett Place Honda in the $80's (for a part they told me was on warranty the day before). Follow-up - The service manager saw my review, reached out to me,and offered to complete the repair at no cost. It was done, well and on time. In retrospect, any business that relies on humans has the potential for service breakdowns, The true measure is HOW the business responds. Kam, the service manager responded proactively to resolve the problem and reinforce a policy of honesty, for his staff and this customer alike. It is appreciated, and noted in the revised review. In April of 2012, my wife Ashley and I (Joseph) bought a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid. Steven Busche's Knowledge of his inventory was so in depth that once we decided on the model he was able to pick the perfec 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid. Steven Busche's Knowledge of his inventory was so in depth that once we decided on the model he was able to pick the perfect vehicle for us. Steven was keenly aware of our needs as a family shopping for a car. So much so that my son Christopher remained calm and entertained the entire time! After we broke for lunch, Steven Busche walked us through the paperwork, cut his tie (its a car salesman thing lol), and had us home in time for dinner. I love doing business with people I would eat a meal with and Steven Busche is welcome at my family dinner table. As our family has grown, and our transportation needs have changed, I am glad to be working with Steven again to find us the right vehicle for the right price. Steven Has stayed in close touch with us over the last year and half. I know I can get in touch with Steven using many forms of communication such as phone, email and even a personal text from time to time. I also know that I can count on Steven to respond in a timely manner with a plan of action when we talk. Even when life happened, Gwinnet Honda and Steven gave us great customer service. No request was too small. Also anything I asked for was met with an acceptable solution. I am glad to say I have never had to ask to speak to anyone other than who was immediately in front of me. It has been a pleasure doing Business with Steven Busche and Gwinnett Place Honda and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. -Joseph, Ashley, Christopher More
I contacted Mr. Ernst Louis over the internet. He found the exact vehicle I wanted (titanium CR-V EX-L) and quoted the best price for it. When I went to Gwinnett Place the vehicle was waiting for me ready the exact vehicle I wanted (titanium CR-V EX-L) and quoted the best price for it. When I went to Gwinnett Place the vehicle was waiting for me ready for test driving. There were no surprises when I decided to buy the vehicle. Mr. Louis even found an incentive to save me money. I was also pleasantly surprised with the discounted dealer options. Ms. Barnes helped me personalize my CR-V. Mr. Albert Thompson helped me with financing and sold me an extended warranty. First I was not going to buy the warranty but then I changed my mind because the vehicle is loaded with electronic parts. I hope I don't need it but you never know. I also purchased a pre-paid maintenance plan. This is the second Honda I purchased from Gwinnett Place; I know their service is also excellent. The sale team was very efficient: the whole process took less than 3 hours. Before I drove off the lot, Mr. Louis even paired my smart phone with my new CR-V. I plan to stop by and say hello to him when I go to Gwinnett Place for my first service. More
After a frustrating experience at another dealership, I was so lucky to find Ernst at Gwinnett Place. I was very anxious and indecisive about my first new car purchase. Ernst was so patient with me, expla was so lucky to find Ernst at Gwinnett Place. I was very anxious and indecisive about my first new car purchase. Ernst was so patient with me, explained all the features of the car during the test drive and walked me though all of the options and numbers. I was instinctively skeptical of anything I was told, but I fact-checked everything he told me and turns out, Ernst is one honest guy! He treated me like a friend and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. He has continued to be helpful with follow-up questions weeks after the sale. Albert in finance was also friendly and helped me get squared away with payment. More

He advised that he would send the vehicle for detail and the issue would get resolved. We took the vehicle home and within 24 hours the vehicle was infested with ants. We returned the vehicle on 8/02/2013 and Curtis suggested to fumigate the vehicle. We advised that we wish to return the vehicle, cancel the contract and return our check along with a letter for confirmation. Curtis advised Angela Shepard indicated that due to legal reasons they could not provide a letter. I requested to speak with her and he advised during this time she has left for the day. I requested to speak with Chad, he indicated that there was nothing he could do. Finally after 2 hours of back and forth, they finally agreed to provide a letter that the vehicle was returned due to ant infestation. At this point me and my 4 month old son had no way to get home and I asked Curtis what about the loaner vehicle. He indicated that that was off the table. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone with a pulse. More
This was my second visit so far for service at Gwinnett Place Honda. I arrived with an emergency with my 2003 Honda Accord on my first visit, and Chuck greeted me immediately. Although, I didn't have an appointment, I was able to be serviced right away. Chuck has always been very professional, helpful and resourceful in assisting with the maintenance of my 10 year old vehicle. He explains things to me very thoroughly and always looks for the most economical solutions, since he knows I'm on a tight budget. I even had a second emergency with my vehicle, very near closing time. I'm talking 5 minutes before closing; lights were off, garages down. However, he and the crew that were left there didn't hesitate to assist me, and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience in the slightest way. They didn't stop until they determined the real root of the problem. They are awesome, and I will continue to have my vehicles (current and future) serviced there. More
Just purchased my first new Honda....I cannot imagine the experience being anymore less complicated or enjoyable than the sales team and finance department made it! The staff and facility's appearance only w experience being anymore less complicated or enjoyable than the sales team and finance department made it! The staff and facility's appearance only went hand in hand with their professionalism, courteousness, and product knowledge. They focused on both what I was looking for in a new vehicle and what I needed to accomplish on the finance end of the deal. I will definitely be back when considering my next purchase. More

We bought a used 2008 Odyssey in 2010. At the time of purchase we were sold an extended warranty and maintenace contract. We were told, specifically, that these programs would cover all maintenance and purchase we were sold an extended warranty and maintenace contract. We were told, specifically, that these programs would cover all maintenance and non-conformance costs associated with the vehicle. Approximately a year after purchase the battery cable went bad- we were told the "warranty didn't cover it". After some degree of discussion we finally got the dealership to agree to cover it. Now our brakes are "glazed" and the dealership wants $260 (which would buy new rotors and pads) just to "resurface" the rotors (not "turn" them). Our Odyssey is housed in a garage and is driven only 15-18,000 miles per year. It seems everytime we go in for an oil change something else is wrong and it is never covered by either of the programs we were told would cover these costs. The service manager, Rick, is very matter-of-fact (doesn't take the time to explain anything- we had to google glazed rotors while there) and quickly found lower costs for the work within miles. My main issue is the dealership sold us an extended warranty and maintenance- assured us it covers "everything except tires" (their words not mine) and routinely hits us up for more cost everytime we drive in. The costs, when quoted, are higher than other local companies. So from our perspective the dealership sold piece of mind, tears that away when you come in, and over charges to fix problems they said the maintenance program would cover to begin with. More
