Gwinnett Place Ford let me leave with a defective and broken car. They put my life in danger by not taking care of their manufacturer defect with the transmission. The transmission has been replaced 3 broken car. They put my life in danger by not taking care of their manufacturer defect with the transmission. The transmission has been replaced 3 times and the car is part of a class action lawsuit. Ford has admitted fault, but has refused to put me in a new vehicle. This started in 2012 when I almost died in the vehicle. The dealer told me it is not their fault, yet they knew of the issues and let me leave and risk my life and the lives of others on the highway. Gwinnett Ford replaced the transmission in 2018 and this one just died. Clearly they would rather me die than do the right thing. This is a manufacturer defect with transmission and electrical problems causing the car to misfire. They would not even reset the computer which is a free charge. They charged me $156.00 for nothing. They were looking for a $4,000. Clearly business must be hurting to hoodwink a customer with a known manufacturer defect. When escalated to a manager I was told to pay the $4,000 job. This is not normal wear and tear. They treated as if it were putting the lives of many in jeopardy. It is my only means of transportation going to chemotherapy appts. Thank you for making a cancer patient feel welcome in your community. Person I worked with was polite, but could not have a manager approve the work. Nor would they reach out to Ford corporate for a replacement vehicle which should have been replaced in 2012. More
My husband called ahead telling him the vehicle we wanted to purchase. By the time we got there the vehicle was upfront and he was ready to take care of us. Great experience, we would definitely come back in to purchase. By the time we got there the vehicle was upfront and he was ready to take care of us.
