Can't Fix Any Issues I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata whose engine likes to shake violently, stall, and as of tonight, seize. I've brought my car to this dealership more than I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata whose engine likes to shake violently, stall, and as of tonight, seize. I've brought my car to this dealership more than 6 times for this same problem. Despite the fact that I drop anywhere between $400-$1600 every time I take it in for service for this issue...they either "can't repeat the problem" or "fixed it" (cleaning fuel injectors, soldering the oil pan, replacing the oil plan, replacing the transmission entirely, etc.). Every time...I leave with a broken car. Now that the car's engine has finally seized, I'm bringing it to Palatine being that I'd be better off having a 5 year old try to fix my car than the incompetent dealership that is Gurnee Hyundai. More

Horrible experience from day 1 to day 1095 My experience from with Gurnee Hyundai ( Bob Rohrman) was horrible from the moment I signed my lease. I had my brother as a co-signer and they ended u My experience from with Gurnee Hyundai ( Bob Rohrman) was horrible from the moment I signed my lease. I had my brother as a co-signer and they ended up putting the lease under his name and refused to change it. The General Manager was rude and unhelpful. When my lease ended and I went to turn the vehicle in, the new General Manager John Kokkalis was even more rude and unhelpful. He came off as snobby and arrogant. The sales manager Akira Shibata, who reluctantly helped process my lease return didn't even try and sell me a new car, solid business plan I'm sure Bob Rohrman would approve of. Steer clear of this place unless you enjoy being treated like trash. More

Wilfredo is great and got me into a Tuscon I wanted to go with Hyundai because of the warranty, but I wasn't particularly thrilled with going in to look at cars on my own. I wanted a relaxed, I wanted to go with Hyundai because of the warranty, but I wasn't particularly thrilled with going in to look at cars on my own. I wanted a relaxed, not-overly-aggressive salesman. The salesman that called me to set up the appt was Wilfredo Toro-Vargas. I was nervous that he would be pushy, but when I met him, he was the perfect salesman for me and my personality. Very relaxed, knew all his info well and if he didn't know something, he immediately went to look into it. He took the time for me and never rushed me to get to another sale. The first day was 2.5 hours and I test drove the Tuscon which I liked. I was also test driving a Nissan Rogue, but again I wanted the warranty and someone I know has both and recommended the Tuscon. I came back another night to negotiate and then another and finally bought it. Will was always professional and I even sent a few texts and he responded very quickly. I recommend Will to anyone and everyone who doesn't want to play games and wants someone laid back but knowledgeable. More
