If there was another Subaru closer I would have purchased car from another dealership. Employee not very well trained. Had to call dealership to see when car was ready to be picked up. Once upon a time. it was my pattern to take my Subaru here. However, when my timing belt was changed, someone decided not to mention or change out my water pump. I lost my transmission thanks to Gurley here. However, when my timing belt was changed, someone decided not to mention or change out my water pump. I lost my transmission thanks to Gurley Leep. They never even apologized at all. They just decided “those are the breaks” customer. How can we trust if the Dealership fails to do the proper work, does not review appropriate work, and just writes it off their mistakes on the customers? More

Took my wife's Subaru Outback in to investigate the engine running rough and some weird transmission sounds when it was under load. Our mistake was we gave the service department a blank check - go fix whatever it is and let us know what the bill will be later. I've trusted past service managers I've worked with when I give them the carte blanche go-ahead. Unfortunately, Gurley Leep charged me $3k. "Okay, that's fine," I said to myself, "as long as the problem is fixed." As we were driving out of the lot, we noticed the exact same problems as what we came in with. We turned around and they said, "Oh, we didn't notice all THESE things that are also wrong with your vehicle. That will be another $3k." That first $3K was the only time in my life I had ever taken on credit card debt. I didn't feel like letting them screw us over again. So I sold the Subaru and my wife has been happily driving a Chevy ever since. Gates is way better. Either Gurley Leep is incompetent, dishonest or both. In any case, don't give them your business. More
Went in for an appointment and gypped me with alignment by charging $139.95. Told the tech that in the TV SCREEN I SIDE THE WAITING ROOM says $90.00 how come the bill is $139.95. I looked at the tech and said again and tech is like “I can’t do anything, this is our price”. Just one wiper blade on passenger side costs $25.00. So much better to go inside the Subaru store and buy it yourself for just $15.00. This dealership is a rip-off and do not serve the customers with integrity and honesty. Be careful when taking your car for service. A complete rip-off place. More

GurleyLeep has sold us our last four Subarus (3 Imprezas and 1 Outback ). The Service Department and service are top-notch.
