This was an unexpected visit, but I ended up purchasing a new Atlas SE Cross Sport. This dealership is adorned with spectacular vintage VW's. Very clean and Modern. He greeted me at the door and from that moment on he was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciated the test drives and him taking the time to explain the technology package to me. I was also introduced to Justin Dewar who went over the paper work with me. Justin, I enjoyed our conversation. It ended up being a great day. I drove home with a new Atlas and made two new friends. Poor customer service. They sold a used car without having it properly cleaned for cigarette smoke odor. It was so bad that after the masking scent wore off, I could not br They sold a used car without having it properly cleaned for cigarette smoke odor. It was so bad that after the masking scent wore off, I could not breathe without opening all the windows. Yes. They sent someone to fix it, but it still has the smell, just less of it. They should never have sold a car without properly cleaning it first. Day two, tire blow out...tire pressure at 25 when minimum is 45..and 2 quarts low on oil. Unresponsive when called multiple times. I would NEVER buy from this company again. I should have bought from Rick Case. Regret this purchase. Rick Case has much better customer care and a return policy. I did not even have the option of return. Rick Case allows a return if under 300 miles on a used car. Seriously. Gunther. Do better. Unfortunately zero stars is not an option, or zero stars it would be. Cars are a commitment and Volkswagen in general is on the lower rating in all categories from all major companies comparing reliability and safety of cars. Since VW is not high on the list of reliability or value, the least they can do is have decent dealerships to balance it out. Not impressed. Volkswagen should have a system in place to hold the dealerships selling their product to at least a minimum standard. I wish I had believed the reviews with one star. They are all correct. The higher stars must be friends and family. Just the worst experience. Car Max was better. Rick Case was better. I know for the future to avoid Gunther and return to the dealerships that offer better warranties and service with their sales. Never again. More
