Extremely disappointed in Tom Latesta of Gunther Volvo Coconut Creek. This is the second lease car that I have gotten from him at Volvo and it will be the last. We agreed a deal with him. I brought in Coconut Creek. This is the second lease car that I have gotten from him at Volvo and it will be the last. We agreed a deal with him. I brought in my car to be assessed, they took it for 30 minutes and he came back and said it was fine, we could go ahead with the deal at the price as agreed. Weeks later I got a bill from Volvo Car Financial Services to say that we owed $881.61 as two of the tires needed to be replaced. I would think that it's fairly obvious if the tires needed to be replaced and they could figure that out in the 30 minutes that they had my car to 'assess' it. I feel totally scammed, it is obvious to be that he wanted to do the deal and get his commission and didn't care what happened afterwards. He doesn't answer my calls when I call him. A lady called me a week later to do a survey on the sales process, I said actually I am not very happy at all. She quickly got off the phone and I haven't heard from her since despite her telling me should would have the manager call me, which he didn't. Obviously they want the good feedback but not the reality if it's not in their favor. My husband and I went to the dealership and spoke to John Falciglia, the Manager, Tom was not there. He said leave it with me for a few days and I'll get back to you. My husband then got a text a week later from Tom saying "I got you $400". The other sales guy who was there when we went back said he always checks the tires and points it out the the customer if they need to be replaced to avoid this, and that is what Tom should have done with us. We may have decided to go elsewhere or do something different had we been in possession of this information but Tom Latesta withheld it from us in order to make a sale. Beware! More
