Most companies and especially auto dealerships are good when all is easy but how they handle problems is when you really find out how good they actually are. My service representative Rennie and Gunther Volvo were outstanding and went above and beyond when I had an issue with my vehicles extended warranty. Rennie kept me informed, was highly professional, knowledgeable and took the time and effort to insure that the warrant company in question resolved my issue. Gunther Volvo provided a complimentary vehicle while this transpired. If how you are treated AFTER you purchase or lease a vehicle is important then I highly recommend Gunther Volvo and their entire Service Department. Made car buying pleasant Usually I dread the thought of car shopping as my experiences in the past have been pretty similar: being trailed by an overbearing salesperson while Usually I dread the thought of car shopping as my experiences in the past have been pretty similar: being trailed by an overbearing salesperson while I shopped and then the extremely lengthy process of negotiations and paperwork which ends with leaving the dealership happy with my purchase, but feeling like I just got off a 12 hour flight. This time around I was bracing for the same process and much to my delight, it was a completely different experience! Our salesperson, Glen was friendly and attentive while hanging back and giving my husband and I the space we needed to look around the lot and discuss our options. Once we had settled on a car that we liked, he took us into his office and gave us a full rundown on the car that we chose and all of the other necessary details about our choice. When it was time to do the deal, the manager Steven Meadows came in to give us some further information and to answer some of our questions regarding the Certified Vehicle program. We were then taken over to finance where Justin Dewar handled all of the paperwork for us. What normally takes upwards of an hour, was handled efficiently and pleasantly.
