We bought a used 2010 VW Passat wagen from Gunther VW. It has 20k miles and looks and drives brand new. I would never expect a service issue with this car. The car is fantastic, but we realized that our trad has 20k miles and looks and drives brand new. I would never expect a service issue with this car. The car is fantastic, but we realized that our trade was grossly undervalued, so we paid a little more than we should have. You expect that when you trade a car to a dealer. They have to make money to keep the doors open, but when we figured out that we got beaten up real bad we asked for help. The car we traded in had low miles, and the top of the line NAV system offered by the factory, and every bell and wistle known to man. Our new one had a basic radio, and no frills. We asked if they would install a free NAV in our car, to at least upgrade it to what we traded in. We figured that they would counter with a story about how they could not do it for free, so how about dealer cost. That would have been great! BUT...That was the thing that stopped all communication with the salesmen. We cannot get anyone to call back, if just to say no. I have been getting the run around for over a week now. Repeated phone calls get no phone calls back, no reasons, no communication of any kind. They will not respond at all. They are real good before the sale, but after the sale, you will not get the time of day! I know I will never be unhappy with their service, because I have visited Wallace VW up in Stuart, FL, and I have great communication, including all my answers to my questions about the NAV. I will go there for service, and will buy my next VW there too. Gunther has lost a good customer, but I guess that is good for Wallace! More
