The Wolfsburg engineers will continue to showcase excellent technology in an effort to save face and to restore consumer confidence in the VW badge. Timing is everything. One of the managers, Dave Klaus (Fixed Operations Director), provided a terrible customer service with the utmost arrogance, and showed no concern. Why give such people a director position? They seem to avoid any warranty requests, and when they do, they don’t provide a quality service and try to scam you. Their service center cannot keep up with the amount of cars so they often refuse services. Also they always seem to be out of loaner cars. At Gunther VW of Coconut Creek, you are a customer only on the first day…when you buy your car from them. VW’s require high maintenance, therefore, you will be looking for a reliable and friendly service; you won’t be able to count on them. I now have to contact VW Customer Service before I drop off my car there. After all the hard time they’ve given me, I am reporting them to FTC and BBB. More

Excellent Sales Person, Bad Finance experience. Recently purchased a VW from Gunther. Fair agreed upon purchase price, but when it came to financing, we were sold an additional service contract Recently purchased a VW from Gunther. Fair agreed upon purchase price, but when it came to financing, we were sold an additional service contract which added approximately $3500 to the price. We cancelled the service contract a few days after purchase, but they never sent the final contract with the agreed upon price without the additional $3500 to the bank, who has sent us the payments based on the agreement with the additional $3,500 included, and we are being charged, including the interest based on the incorrect amount When we called the Gunther business manager we were told they had sent in the revised agreement without the service contract charges. The bank says no. Gunther says yes. Looks like this is a case for the Department of Business Affairs, and the DA's fraud division?. More
