A Sham Up until the paperwork is signed, the agent did have a fair knowledge of the car and was personable. However, this first visit ...to test drive and work a deal took 3 hours. A bit outrageous. We decided to purchase the vehicle...XC40 Inscription, which had to be transported from their sister store. After having the car for a couple of days, we realized that a couple of pieces were missing. (like the infamous hook in the glovebox) and was told we left our transponder in our trade vehicle. When I asked if he could drop these things in the mail, Sham responded...."I'll try" Calling again about it, he said it was going out that day. Although, when the Sales Manager was asked about it, he said it "sat on his desk for days" and was not there now, so it must have gone out. It is coming up on 4 weeks, and still nothing....and no response when messaging. In customer care, it is a general rule ..it is not how you start, but how you finish. The salesperson was interested in your needs until the paperwork was signed. Then completely dropped the ball, not even answering a message. While my first visit to the Service Department was very favorable, I would not go there to BUY a car in the future. More
