Unfortunately I can not give zero or negative stars. Me and my wife bought 2021 xc40 couple of weeks ago from this dealership. First everything was going well . My trade-in was appraised pretty fast Me and my wife bought 2021 xc40 couple of weeks ago from this dealership. First everything was going well . My trade-in was appraised pretty fast and value was what I was thinking of. Sales man wrote numbers down and we signed hand written agreement. I asked him how soon I can pay the loan off, answer was that in 3-4 months. He promised me to give me copy of that and warranty documentations (Car is Volvo certified car with 2 year bumper to bumper warranty). He took our agreement to Finance”manager”. After two hours waiting they call me to another building to sign the paper work. Of course numbers didn't match with agreement with sales man. No explanation from “manager” who even didn't bother to introduce himself. Then I told him put some cash on top my trade-in. “Manager” denied that because our trade-in value was more than 50% higher than car we were purchasing. We must finance the whole balance. He didn't negotiate at all what kind financing I was planning, but only asked me to sign paperworks. Middle of process he told me that interest rate was 8.44% for 72 months. (I could get the loan from my bank w 7.2% ,our credit score way over 800) I asked him how soon we can pay off the loan , answer : in 7 months. So these guys are not even same page what they are telling to customer. In the end these guys forget to remind me I have to call my insurance company to change my new car in to the policy. So they let me to drive without insurance out of the building. I asked copies of all documentation, but they told me I can come back later to pick them up. Three days later I received three pages of Retail Installment Sale Contract. Nothing else. My wife called dealership several times and they only transferred her from secretary to secretary. Seven days later customer service called back to her and promised that sales man will call next day. Never did. Now. If ANYBODY at Gunthers read this review, please do not call us. I had a frustrating experience at Gunther Volvo Delray. I waited nearly two weeks for a loaner car and had to bring my car back twice because my check engine light wasn't fixed properly the first time. The cashier said “Well there are signs all over. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN i MADE THE APPOINTMENT! This is a deceptive business practice!
