I was not prepared to close a deal, just visiting. Drove away with a new, Red CX9, No, this wasn’t hard sell or impulse buying, my lease still had a year to go. But Willie and the team at Gunther Mazda were super efficient and professional, offering me a great deal to trade in my existing CX9. Dealing with Gunther Mazda these past three years, i have always found them to be professional, service orientated, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Great experience leasing a CX-5 on 11/26/17 Horrible experience with CJ about 2 months ago. The guy told me I was wasting his time because it was a Saturday and I was undecided between Honda and Horrible experience with CJ about 2 months ago. The guy told me I was wasting his time because it was a Saturday and I was undecided between Honda and a Mazda. When I asked detailed questions about pricing, he said I didn't need to know that. When I told him that I do a lot of research and need the details to make my decision, he said research is not important. Long story short, he was borderline insulting. A sales person is supposed to listen to you to understand your needs. This guys just wants to shove you the information that he wants you to know and not what you want to know. Anyways, since the dealer is closest to our home, my wife convinced me to give them a second chance yesterday. I went reluctantly expecting a regular to similar experience to our previous visit. I wonder how many people felt like me and never went back or never took the time to write about it... Glad we went back! Nick was amazing from start to finish. From a warm greeting, to great showmanship, to a spicy negotiation, to a handshake. It's one thing to be good at what you do and service a customer well. It's a completely superior ball game to recover a previously very dissatisfied customer. If you are car hunting, I highly recommend reaching out to Nick for your visit. More
