False Advertising I was interested in a car and the salesperson, Ali, boasted about the great price. When I decided to buy the car and started the haggling process, I f I was interested in a car and the salesperson, Ali, boasted about the great price. When I decided to buy the car and started the haggling process, I found out that the so-called great price was the military discount. When I pointed out that was false advertising, Ali insisted it was not because some customers are from the military. I'm sorry, but unless the dealership is located on a military base, or unless he found out from the very beginning that I was military, he quoted me a falsely low price. I understand that car salespeople have to make a living, but that kind of duplicity leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The low price was even featured on the car.Now I won't recommend Gunther Mazda. If I had a good experience, I would be singing its praises. After the transaction was concluded, Ali told me that I would be emailed a survey. He kept saying over and over that I needed to give him a perfect score, but don't tell anyone that he told me to do that. When I said I would have to see the survey first, he insisted again that if I couldn't give him a perfect score, don't bother filling out the survey at all! Correct me in I'm wrong, but aren't customer satisfaction surveys a way for the dealership to improve? I hope Gunther Mazda steps up its game and treats its customers with a little more respect. More
