Made a 10:30 appointment for an oil change. I was told it was a two hour wait.Why make appointments?After 2 1/2 hours. I checked in and was told. They were looking for my service advisor. My service experience started out great but ended very poorly. My service advisor was Ricky and he was awesome. While I was there I spoke with a sales associate and he was very knowledgable. I told him I was in the market for another vehicle but I was not sure what I wanted. He provided me infromation that I requested and left me his card. My service was now complete and another gentleman came to advise me that Ricky was out to lunch and he would assist me in closing out my ticket. He processed my payment and told me my car was parked in the expres lane behind another car. When I reached my vehicle, it still had all the plastic seat covers, paper floor mats and tags from their work. I had to remove all of these things myself and locate a trash can to dispose of them properly. It was then that another service associate blocked me in from behind so now I was stuck between two vehicles and all lanes were now full so moving forward was not an option. I signaled to the person behind me to back up to allow me to leave and they did. I proceeded to attempt a u-turn and ran over a plastic cone which was witnesed by a woman inside who appeared to be a supervisor or manager based on her authoritive nature during my visit inside. I waved for her to assist me and she waved down a another gentleman who never came to my aid. I managed to make a u-turn and exit the service bay in the wrong direction. I am very big on the importance of customer service and beleive this should have been handled in another manner. I believe the rep should have walked me to my car, removed all the plastic seat covers, paper floor mats, and all tags associated with my visit and disposed of them properly. Then they should have proceeded to move the vehicle in front of me so I may exit safely. I came in for service and I am in the market for another car but based on this experince, I will no longer be returing to GUNN any more. GUNN, please learn from this experience and train your staff on how to properly deliver an ultimate customer experience. We, as customers have choices to purchase and receive service from whomever we choose. I have purchased numerous vehicles from Gunn and this experience was unfortunate. In short, I went in for service and will be purchasing another vehicle soon, but based on this visit, I will take my future business elsewhere. More
