i went to buy a honda element. mr. michael lents showed me 2011 model and he was very knowledgeable of the car. i went to look at 2008 model at other dealers and i knew something about the car. but, he t me 2011 model and he was very knowledgeable of the car. i went to look at 2008 model at other dealers and i knew something about the car. but, he told me the difference in the engine from an older model. he also showed me all parts of utility in the element. the reason for choosing the car was the utilitarian aspect of the car. it was important to me that he showed me all aspects of the utility. it was also important to me that the engine now had a timing chain rather than a timing belt - less maintenance. all in all, he showed how well he understood about the car and i felt comfortable as to what i was purchasing. he also showed me the 2010 model and i ended up buying 2010 model because of the certified status. it was a good experience. My search began the same as many consumers these days, on the internet. I visited numerous dealer websites and car search engines to get a feel for what is available. When I finally pinned down a vehicle for which I had a strong interest, I submitted a request for information from the Gunn Honda website. Within 12 hours I received a response from Mike Lents detailing his role at Gunn Honda, what he can do to help, as well as the information I requested. From that moment on he was very responsive, followed up on every message, and made a concerted effort to keep the lines of communication open. This eventually lead to me scheduling an appointment to visit the dealership, and the car of my interest. Once onsite I found Mike to be friendly, easy to talk to, and a pleasure to work with. We went for a test drive, appraised my trade-in, and made the sale. Mike then introduced me to Luke Finley (F&I Manager), who was equally as helpful explaining in simple terms what each document I signed pertained to, and outlined my options. Once all the ink was dry I made my way back to my trade-in, emptied it out with Mike's help. We shook hands, and feeling good about the experience, I have decided that good work should not go unnoticed. I'm sure there was also a team of individuals who made the vehicle I purchased ready for delivery, and I'd like to recognize them as well for a job well done. More

After haggling with another dealership in the Austin area I decided to take Roger at his word and drive down to San Antonio to purchase my new car. I was worried that the deal was "too good to be true" but in fact the deal went through with the exact numbers that Roger quoted. We were in and out of the dealership in a little over two hours. Everyone was courteous, honest, and efficient. Will recommend them to all of my friends and will certainly do business with them again. More
I visited Gunn Honda on June 16, 2011 with the intention of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle, and left after two and a half hours with an extremely low appraisal and a broken air conditioner on my trade-in ve of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle, and left after two and a half hours with an extremely low appraisal and a broken air conditioner on my trade-in vehicle. I am not sure what the appraiser did but the A/C was working when I entered the lot and the fan would not work when he was done with his two hour appraisal. He did mention something about really wanting to “push” systems when he conducted an appraisal. He asked me “if there was anything that I wanted to tell him about the A/C”. There was an attempt to call General Motors to see if there was a known problem but I was informed the appraiser had the wrong number. The Accord that I was interested in had been viewed several days prior to my visit though Gunn’s web site. I called the salesman to inform him of the date and time of my visit to test drive the vehicle. I could not even look at the Honda that I was interested in because it was being “serviced“. While we were looking for another particular model, the salesman abruptly abandoned us when he saw 2 women that he recognized and went to go visit with them. In the showroom I was told that I could leave and that the vehicle I was interested in would be brought out to me the next day (I live in a neighboring county), and that the appraiser would call me when he arrived at a figure. Was I being encourage to leave the dealership? I believe that because I entered the Gunn Honda dealership with a “gas guzzling“ SUV that I was viewed as a waste of time. The Gunn ad says they pride themselves on a “no pressure sales approach” but I never expected simple apathy. I would think that a motivated prospect with an upper tier credit rating would be a valuable commodity at any auto dealership. Normally a visit to an auto dealer for the purpose of purchasing a new or pre owned vehicle can be a fun and exciting experience. This was anything but. The 45 minute drive home in the heat and humidity was no picnic either. The GM of Gunn Honda told me that he would reimburse me the deductible for the repair of the A/C and after sending the requested work order to date have not received a response. I have since purchased a vehicle from another dealer and will never consider the Gunn Group in the future. More
HANDS DOWN!!!!! The absolute best Honda dealership I have ever dealt with. This is my 2nd time around with them and I'll be back for a 3rd time for sure. My wife and I had a very enjoyable visit to Gunn Honda. I had pulled up some certified used Honda Accords on Autotrader. I called and asked for Bryan Hart and I talked to him about the cars. He knew we were coming on Saturday, so he said he would have the cars and keys waiting for us. When we got there, he showed us the cars and we took one of them for a test drive. I told him I wanted to compare them with the new 2011 Honda Accords. He went and got a print out of the inventory and the rest is history. He told us they had a 2011 Honda Accord EX for $21,999.00. It was exactly what we wanted. It was black exterior and black cloth seats. We were very pleased with the trade we got for our 1999 Tahoe, $2,000.00. Bryan helped us all the way through the process, along with the loan manager.Very nice dealership and great job Bryan Hart! More
