He helped find other savings for me and get a better deal than the one I offered. I went by the next day after work, options were explained to me about the best way to purchase. Everyone was very nice and the store looks brand new. I guess it's been there for a long time, but just finished a re-model. Overall: I was plesanty suprised by the quality of the car, discount and overall "feeling". There was no pressure and I left happy. Will be back for my complimentary oil change in a couple months. Horrible, dishonest, bait and switch. We had, in writing a price, showed up for scheduled appointment only to be told they'd give us a different (less equipped) vehicle for the price they'd quoted. Price was sent by Jim in the internet department, he was nowhere to be found. Went to George Chevrolet 20 minutes away and got a better price than Guaranty's quote on a vehicle they didn't even have. Saw Betty at George, she dealt fairly and honestly, quick easy transaction. More
I just want to give praise to Marilyn Schreiber. You could not ask for a nicer person to deal with. We bought our 1st new car in 2009 and Marilyn sold it to us. Because of Marilyn, we were now looking at a 2012 Avalanche and did not go anywhere else but to Marilyn. We told her what we wanted and she found what we were looking for. It took all the pain out of staying at the dealership. When she found it, called us and went and got it. She made it so easy. Where ever she is, is where we would go to buy another Chevy!!! I was looking for a late model used car and found a Malibu on line at Guaranty. I called and spoke to Joe Renden who was great. After test driving we sat down to go over some numbers which he made clear and understandable as well with the inspections, documetation and warranty details which made the car like new. To me that was huge and there was not the typical pressure and games being played. There was none of that! There was another car I was intersted in but along with the Malibu, Joe and Guaranty made my decision easy. And the internet aspect made the paperwork process streamlined and quick. " Stay Away From This Dealership!!" I bought a used 2008 Silverado in early Jan of 2011. This truck had a lift, so I was told by the dealership that the factory warranty was void because of the af used 2008 Silverado in early Jan of 2011. This truck had a lift, so I was told by the dealership that the factory warranty was void because of the after market parts. I was told that if I wanted a warranty, that they had a warranty that would cover not only all of my power train components, but also the lift kit, and electrical. They quoted me a price of $3000 for a 4 year 48,000 mile extended warranty. This seemed like a great idea to me. All this coverage, even the lift kit... wow! So I traded in my 2006 Silverado (Paid Off with 73K miles running perfect), and bought this new truck with this warranty. Right after diving this truck off the lot, I noticed a few problems that needed to be fixed. So I took the truck in for service (Clunking drive shaft, Knocking front end, and a slight shaking). They said that the drive shaft needed lubed, which they did, and they told me that the shaking and knocking was normal with a lift and big tires??? After driving the truck for 8 Months, and the shaking getting worse, I decided to take the truck in, because there was an obvious problem! At 8am while headed to the dealership on the 5 fwy going about 65 miles per hour, my front left wheel snaped off the axle hub and sent my truck sliding down the freeway. Turns out that I had a broken wheel bearing. Fortunately I made it out with no injuries and the truck managed not to hit anyone else. After having the truck towed to the dealership to have fixed, I found that in fact there are no such warranties for lifted vehicles, and that the warranty I was sold, was virtually non-existent. Basically I paid $3000 for nothing and was sold into a truck that now I found had no warranty!!! OMG, what now, this is not what we agreed on! After having to claim insurance to fix my truck because the warranty was no good, I confronted the dealership, and they returned my $3000, but handed me the keys to my fixed truck, and basically said, "It's your problem now". So now I have a truck with no warranty and the dealership has done nothing to help me out, when they obviously dropped the ball. I've asked the owner (Bruce Hamlin) for help, but he never returns my calls. Now I have to take this dealership to court. I believe to make this right they either need to cover the warranty that they sold me, or buy back the truck that I shouldn't even have. The service dept told me that they work on commission, and I feel like I've been up sold into things that I don't even need. I've never felt comfortable or confident when taking my truck to this dealership. In fact, I question if they even do the work they charge you for!?!? More
