We had a very strong, certified trade-in offer (from elsewhere) that Grubbs Volvo pretty much matched. David McDuffie made the finance paperwork easy, transparent, and time-efficient. Everyone at Grubbs Volvo was kind and helpful (even the staff at the Service Center). The atmosphere isn't pretentious at all and the showroom and reception area are bright, modern, and welcoming. Buying a car from Grubbs was the most relaxed & nonpressure experience ever. The sales department was great & was very attentive to our needs as well as our wishes. This purchase was for my daughte nonpressure experience ever. The sales department was great & was very attentive to our needs as well as our wishes. This purchase was for my daughter & it was her first vehicle for her sweet 16. Darien was the sales manager on the deal & he was absolutely amazing. Most sales managers sit behind a glass wall and never visit with the buyers, not Darien. He made my daughter feel special & made her feel like she was a queen. He assisted her with programming her phone to the car, he answered all her questions about the car & simply just took the time to include her into the deal. I will forever be greatly to Darien for going above & beyond for her. More

Wow. Rude, pushy, dishonest, and obvious sales tactics. From the horrible experience with the salesperson (I won’t go into details yet), to the almost lau Rude, pushy, dishonest, and obvious sales tactics. From the horrible experience with the salesperson (I won’t go into details yet), to the almost laughably bad experience with the “financial manager”, to the useless general “manager” who I shared my horrible experience with after he reached out (then he didn’t respond to any of that or try to make it better)—it’s been like going from the same type of person over and over. I would love to speak with a higher up. Who is running this company? Grubbs—you can do so much better. We bought the car we wanted (we were not sold a vehicle—if anything we wanted to leave several times but wanted a specific vehicle they had on the way—I’d not willingly give this guy the commission), despite the salesperson trying to push the original vehicle I looked at on me (clearly trying to move the floor model—which had quite a bit of damage btw). He flat out made a rude remark about me preferring a different color vehicle (and a higher priced version of the vehicle) because I changed my mind. How dare you, woman? There’s so much more. I’m sure (?) not all the salespeople are this way there. But the finance manager and at least one of the general managers was not helpful at all. And beyond that, they were not good (being careful with my words here). The only good things I’ve experienced was their newly remodeled waiting and sales area. And I’ve had good vehicle service in the past. But if I were you, unless you know the exact vehicle you want to buy and are ok dealing with certain types of individuals (and them getting a commission off of you after maybe even treating you badly and being disrespectful), then I’d go somewhere else to buy your Volvo. More
It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. The sales people are friendly and the finance manager was great to work with.
