I told them to take care of what was most urgent and I'd return the next day to complete the work. When I returned they presented me with a whole new digferent list of needed service, and the advisors had no idea what had been worked on and what had not. And to add insult to injury, my service rep left without telling me or turning my over to a new person. $1000 later, I have found that much that was to have been done had not done. Now there is something leaking. That was a lot of money down the drain. More
EXCELLENT BUYING EXPERIENCE WITH ANDY TRAN, ROBERT, AND CARLOS! We walked in almost defeated from having been bullied, demeaned, shamed and harassed by the other Hyundai dealers across town (Brookshire, CARLOS! We walked in almost defeated from having been bullied, demeaned, shamed and harassed by the other Hyundai dealers across town (Brookshire, Texan, West Houston, and Northwest). Glad we communicated with them using a nickname to avoid retaliation. You could say we were traumatized (total lack of response from Brookshire even after THEY initiated emails; and then when we went to the dealer they jacked up the price that was $12000 MORE than MSRP plus my trade-in value then later stared me down when I pushed back saying, "well that was a mistake and I've corrected it. You shouldn't have asked for pricing for the SEL if you can only afford the SE." So rude. This was the Finance Mgr. Then I set him straight - "I asked for an SE first but you don't have one available, so {salesguy} priced the SEL." That was deliberate, I am sure of it - NOT a 'mistake' - hoping that someone who looks like me would not catch on. As for West Houston, they would not entertain communication on text. They just promised to undercut the lowest offer. But no quote from them and no desire to quote. Only sarcasm from multiple people there, and I can name names because I have them on text. Same with Texan Hyundai. Northwest provided a generic quote but dismissed questions. ALL of them had no appetite to continue communicating unless I came in. They could say it nicely if that really were the policy. So by the time we thought to try Group 1 which is clear across town from us, we were expecting more of the same rudeness. But we were introduced to Andy Tran and from there, the experience was delightful. He is friendly, knowledgeable, funny; he's a great advocate but when we hit the ceiling in incentives, he was able to communicate it without being hostile like the ones in the other dealerships, and without shaming. It was a win-win negotiation. It was so enjoyable we came back two days later to buy another one from Andy! After the first sale hissupport continued - did we get the BlueLink link? Did we have any questions? How was the drive? In between the purchase of the two cars he kept us updated on the status of the 2nd car and shared a video of it, got the paperwork ready so we wouldn't wait too long, etc. A seriously refreshing experience! ASK FOR ANDY TRAN! And the same goes for Robert Denaro and Carlo in Finance. The entire experience was no-pressure, no-stress, no-problem! FYI the price from Group 1 was not the lowest, but we gladly signed on because the entire experience made it worth it. More
The service department is a mess. The over site on work being done is really bad. My car was there a month for bad gas. Because no one listened to the customer. “Ie” me. Two weeks and The over site on work being done is really bad. My car was there a month for bad gas. Because no one listened to the customer. “Ie” me. Two weeks and no information. And to get a loaner car would be 200.00 dollars. I for one won’t take my car back there for anything. And Hyundai should be embarrassed to have there name used on the building. 🦉 More
